The sample has come back - thinking of just having the logo on the cover at the moment. What do you think?

Will there be something on the side too?

Howard Knibbs

Just saw the pic of the side - great!

Nicholas Hooker

Looks good! But yes take away the "software review bit" doesn't look right

Sean Meeson

Hi, just the logo without "Software Review" would be my preference

I-0-I 'Paul Sumner'

I agree, remove the software review and put the Crash logo on the side but without the other lines, although hard to see in the pic

Chris

Ah this brings back some fantastic memories. Having text below the logo would be truer to the original (properly aligned without the extended underline)

RetroGuyBry

Just the logo on the front would. be enough.

Michael Winn

Looks good but I agree to take away the Software Review text, not needed

Paul Ledson

I agree remove software review but otherwise looks great

Rich Thomas

Looks great but, as others have said, just keep the logo!

John Russell

I agree that "software review" on the front cover does distract you from the logo above. Not sure if it is needed on the spine either, as shown under your hand, but happy either way.

Steve Dietz

Looks great! I agree with the other comments regarding the software review text.. personally, I'd go with just the Crash logo.

Paul Davies

Yeah, I'd go for just the logo too 👍

Rob Dean

just logo only on the front, i like the idea of something on the side even if its just the logo, as the binders would be sitting side on when sitting on a shelf.

Mark Stephens

Just the plain logo on the front and side IMO

Mark Phillips

Just the logo and centred gets my vote.

Richard Hallas

We all seem to be agreed: logo only for the front. It's all that's needed. If there were some sort of special edition version – a binder for some related product – then some extra text might well be appropriate to distinguish that from the normal. But otherwise, no further 'explanatory' text is needed. Moreover, Crash is about more than just software reviews, so putting "Software Review" on the front both restricts the scope and makes the description inaccurate. Leave it off! :-)

+1 on the "just the logo please" side of voting

martin willmott

Have to agree with others! The logo is GO. If anything else was to be on it, maybe "FUSION" could go somewhere.

Michael Kirk

I agree, keep it clean with just the Crash logo and nothing else.

Gemma Reidie

Looks classy. It's a go from me!

cathers

Logo on its own looks the best to me.

Gwdaley

Logo on cover and the spine - nothing else needed.

Bill Tyler

I like the way you are trying to recreate the old style binder- why not put ‘Monthly Software Review’ on it like that. I also like the logo on the side. Looking good!

MK

just logo on cover, spine like original

Chris King

I don't mind the extra words...feels quite 80s to me

Michael Kennedy

Presumably it won't JUST be software reviews, so having Software Review on the binder doesn't make sense to me. +1 Logo only crew.

Steven Innell

I'd concur with the others and stick with the logos only (not software review)

João Ventura

Why use cordex and not wirex? If that's an option, of course.. it would allow us to insert as many (or as few) issues can fit in a binder, and not be restricted by the number of cords. I've been looking at buying some A4 binders from modernbookbinders.com, as it seems that I missed the Crash A4 binder when they were still offered. Speaking of which, any plans to restock A4 binders? As to these A5 binders. "Quarterly software review" makes no sense, nor does "Software Review" just by itself. I'd prefer the logo only on the front. As to the spine, can you maybe have it larger? The ratio between the graphics and the spine size are strange..

Rob Davies

Agree with Steven and Joao. Logo only.

Tim Wright

Looks lovely, though I agree with everyone who said the Software Review isn't needed. Gave me a twinge of nostalgia, though!

Peter Simpson

Will this binder be available to purchase?
