Yay new comic!

ArcadeDragon

Actually he's a yingl- *officer*. He's an officer now. Isher can ironically use advice from teenage valley girls: use what you got. You can give the barbarians a nice bouqet once they stabilize in the hospital, and you'll feel better.

Vodyanoi Serpens' House of Magical Wonders

Those burn-scarred guards sure are accepting and uncaring of external appearances! Shame Isher's self-conscious about being half-giant-murderlizard.

Wynne Fox

as a 6'4" trans woman, I can so relate to this. I make people uneasy or scared.

valsalia

But by the time the next page comes out, it'll be an old one! D :

valsalia

Glad it did! Always nice to know I'm giving back to the folks who are supporting me. : D

valsalia

Much like Kass at the moment, her problem is that what she got, she don't want!

valsalia

Hey now, the huge pale guy isn't burnt! He just ugly.

Hmm🤔 simple solution is to keep posting 🆕 pages

ArcadeDragon

Are you implying that 16 year old valley girl logic is unhelpful here? Be reasonable, Val. Joking aside, this is always an interesting dilemma. There were many times wanted to be completely feminine when I was younger, and the thought pops up in fantasies often still. However, being 6 foot tall, broad shouldered, and wide jawed that wasn't really a great option. I don't regret this, as these are all very good features to have and wishing I was born with a mountain of diamonds instead of a mountain of gold seems wrong to me. I decided in high school to double down on my natural build, and it worked out well as I discovered I liked new things that I didn't think I would have. I feel it also made people more appreciative of my soft touch, since you wouldn't assume that to be my nature based on looks, and I wouldn't have to be delicate or easy going if I didn't want to be. In that way, you could argue I have the best of both worlds. I hope Isher comes to a similar realization, even if she ends up choosing a different path. Kass definitely appreciates her demeanor much more than her stature, and both her friends and her brothers-in-browbeating appreciate who she is more that what she is. (Sorry for the random ass tangent. Just really like the scene and it hit some personal notes)

ArcadeDragon

lol! I love your blunt sense of humor, Val

ArcadeDragon

Kass will screech fondly at her later, at a laughably high pitch. Thats kinda like loves.

Teether

;-; Oh Isher, even when she's insulted all she can do is say "thank you". Too pure

valsalia

Good, good! I've been aiming from the beginning to have realistic aspects to these characters, despite the fantastical nature of so much else.

valsalia

I just hope that we all can occasionally sit back and be glad that we don't have foot-long knives glued to our hands.

valsalia

I am glad to see that people understand these characters.

valsalia

She's worked with him enough to know that he *meant* to give her a compliment! Co-workers man, complicated stuff
