He has a stick

He's helping

Hey folks, sorry about crunching this 3rd page out right at the end of the month here! Thought I'd have time to start posting 4 per month, starting with this one; but in addition to recovering (very well, I might add!) from the nerve stuff, I got a call last week with some bad news. When I got back from the funeral/family gathering, I had just 3 and a half days before the end of the month, so CRUNCH TIME

Undstandable. Tricky thing this Patreon. You're getting paid for work, but some, if not all are paying you for quality, not quantity. Your mental, emotional, and physical health is very important. I think I speak for everyone when I say thank you for the updates, and we appreciate you!

Elucidate

No need to apologize--some things must take priority, and you're keeping up a pretty damn good pace anyway.

His new plan is to have a stroke so that his master's can't enact vengeance for his failure. Bold move. Also, if you're crunching while injured, please take care of yourself! Injury prevention will cost you less time than injury recovery, by a wide margin.

Euphonetics

Please accept my condolences, loss is never easy. Glad to hear recovery is going well. Speaking as someone who's heard their share of bad news as well, make sure you force yourself to go outside occasionally. Loss and isolation make terrible bedfellows.

Nocturn3

No need to push out three if your nerve stuff is acting up. That and a funeral to boot. Relax.

Brakka really goes through a whole rollercoaster of emotions on this one! Looking forward to what happens next. Really sorry to hear about your loss man. It's never an easy thing to go though. And as much as we all would love for to you reach 4 of these a month, I'm sure most of your followers realize that your physical and emotional well-being should take priority. Make sure you take care of yourself first :D

Glad you are doing well, hoping you keep doing well ^°^

Commodore Cougar

Just love that range of emotions he goes through

Best reaction ever.

He doesn't seem to be waking up. Have you tried using two sticks?

I just found Out-Of-Placers yesterday, and I love it! I got so engaged while reading the whole series that I was afraid of developing an addiction. You’re talented and funny. Take care.

Yeah, it's a kinda tricky side effect of using the pay-per-post system instead of a flat Monthly rate! I just really really don't like the idea of people nice enough to support me getting charged the full amount if I haven't held up my end of the bargain though, ya know?

valsalia

Thanks! Even though I'm always gonna hold myself to certain standards, it's really nice to hear that so many people are very understanding of Life Stuff coming up. : )

Oh believe me, I'm taking things veeeeery carefully. I wouldn't be drawing AT ALL if I couldn't do so safely, and am very conscious about stopping once my nerves start yelling at me, so there's no worries of that, so long as I keep up the caution.

valsalia

Thanks; it's never a welcome thing, but honestly, they lived an extraordinarily full life, had no regrets or things left undone, and he went out doing exactly what he loved the most. Knowing that, it was indescribably easier to say goodbye.

Don't worry, I've learned how to work (and crunch) in a smart and safe way; never gonna push things so hard that my body takes a hit again!
