Kids.

EDIT: Missed a couple bits in the first upload! Specifically, Mustard-Eyes in panel 9, and Brakka in panel 11. And thanks as usual to Raptie for handling the character coloring and shading on this page!

Best boy! All days, months and years! Now if Kass would get involved as well, I'd be super happy to see her overcome the doubts and show she's no push over either.

Zhe Missing Drake

If a true replay, zhen VERY auspicious! But if not...

Potyka

A good, old fashioned curb-stomping. Best to entertain the kids.

Teether

So.....Was the flashback supposed to be an allusion to Elim hitting Brakka?

Some good old fashion Scav Squashing! But seriously great job making what should be a Yinglet bloodbath end with a punchline! And both yourself and Raptie get major props for that Flashback panel, it looks amazing.

"I call the big one 'Bitey'!"

Savvyidiot

Good to see the kids are enjoying the show! :D

Rodger L.

As the kids just shout in joy

Nero Alred

And *CRUNCH* goes the yinglet

Jaws18301

Oh shit the ptsd is kicking in with hallucinations

Darth Pseudonym

KEEP TRACK OF BRAKKA HE'S THE DANGEROUS ONE

Meshelle Bain

He seems a lot less dazed than they thought.

Thorin N. Tatge

Wow, Elim's right shoulder really looks messed up! And of course, the bad boss is the last to strike, leaving all his minions to get killed or incapacitated before him. (Except Raspberry-Eyes, who will surely get a silly anticlimactic line later.)

steelabjur

I was thinking she seems a little concerned, though whether for Elim's safety, or because he appears to have gone berserk and is exterminating Yinglets left and right, remains to be seen. Kass also needs to fix her robes, because she's giving Elim the full monty and that has to be distracting when you're exterminating Yinglets left and right.

Merc Scar

I'd say he's one of the guards who actually gets to wear some decent armor under his tunic, considering he's Kass' bodyguard and all. Probably also why he gets an all metal mace as well.

Merc Scar

Wow he's just balls out smashing them to pulp, literally. Both the yinglets and those guys from way back, he's reminding me of a space marine, just an unstoppable pain train. Also, that night sky in the flashback, Hoooooooly shit is that amazing, teach me your secrets.

ArcadeDragon

As anyone who has played Smash Bros knows, the crowd cheering for you is the ultimate jinx. Thankfully I think the kids are cheering for carnage in general, and not Elim specifically.

Corvin

Stop gawking and get in there, Kass!

Loxen

F Will Elim hear Kassen's advice? Or is Elim so beyond rational thought from whatever blood he has left, he's full of lust?

Silver the Snep

Can you specify the pain train? I'd much desire to check him out

Estragon

Don't just sit there, Kass! Take one out already!

Max Last

Isn't Elim is so devoted to Kass because Kass saved/carried him when he was gut-stabbed, and the flashback scenario is Kass is on the ground with an enemy soldier behind Elim? Am I misremembering that? Am I taking crazy pills? Is no one else picking up what I'm throwing down? All this time Kass has been all "Aww, shucks you saved me too, stop mentioning it." because, yeah, Elim did save him, and he sat there with his breath knocked out or whatever while Elim got shanked, and here we are again but Kass can't carry him this time.

Thorin N. Tatge

Good point! But at least Kass can try to intimidate those kids into actually getting a doctor when this is done.

Merc Scar

I'm meaning "pain train" in the sense that despite being on the receiving end of a shanking and beating, that like a 40k space marine, he keeps going to smash the hell out of everyone else, probably could have worded it better, but meh, moving right along. Referencing this (the first few seconds, and various pieces through, are applicable to Elim here). https://youtu.be/S2o-LmI3kiE?t=8

Seems like Elim forgot that he was the one that saved Kass from being dead in the first place, getting stabbed in the back for him, and the fact that Kass tended to such mortal wound for a month, outweighted the fact, that he saved him first. But now, in the flashback, we see, how Kass begun to realise - without Elim, he wouldn't even BE here right now, And he's doing it again, risking his own life once more.

Max Last

I think Kass has never outright said "I feel like I could have saved you and was frozen". It's possible Elim would be like, "Dude, you took a hit that sent your helmet into the next county and your eyes were watching two different channels at the same time." Course maybe he's like "Wait, you weren't even winded?" Or yeah, Elim may not remember after a month of near dying that the guy who got him came from behind while he saved Kass.

James Richards

It looks like Elim is about to be stabbed in the same part of his same back by the same scav as last time! I know what you're thinking, "Same back?" but if Elim's gonna keep getting stabbed in it, he should really get a spare. Sure, It'll make him look like a monster, but maybe he could get a cool nickname out of it. Is "the beast" taken?
