99 is a pretty significant number but since I restarted the number after the prologue section, the comic's actually up to 120-something or something like that, something!

Thanks as usual to Raptie for handling the character coloring and shading on this page!

I'm sure he'll be fine. Probably....maybe?

2026-09-26 21:00 The surgeon really is looking bored with his job. Or he regrets his life choices. Both suck

Sorry Mr. Dalkaryn, fixing existing gut stabs takes priority over making new gut stabs!

wren

Or He had try the drugs for the anesthesia himself

Estragon

Left waiting on a medical table. Been there. Some things appear to remain constant from one reality to another.

Teether

Poor Isher and Kass need hugs

Sesra

*muse* I zhink zhe doctor is feeling as numb as his patient...

Thorin N. Tatge

I think he may really be into the appendectomies actually!

Thorin N. Tatge

Lots of Ivenmoth recruits! Someone should go in there and keep Mr. Dalkaryn company.

Blu3wolf

It's awkward, because an appendix is also life threatening- potentially very.

Blu3wolf

You can deteriorate very quickly from both conditions. Elim is... probably the one to treat first? On the plus side, the fact they are treating appendicitis is promising - indicates elim has a chance at decent treatment.

Blu3wolf

I wonder if damage control surgery is a practice they have.

Darth Pseudonym

This is why we have nurses to come by and deal with dumb stuff like cleaning up and releasing the patients...

LordCaledus

Oh look, Aizawa is a doctor now.

Merc Scar

I get the vibe that the way he speaks is slow, drawn out, and with a french accent. As well that he is at most, annoyed that someone had the audacity to get themselves a gut wound before he could go and do surgery.

Thannak

I read it more as a bored Vincent Price. Might be because of the mustache and pallor.

valsalia

It's just not as exciting, the 500th time you get that scalpel all up in somebody's business

valsalia

When you think about it, much of surgery can really be distilled down to "stabbing, but constructively"

valsalia

I hope your medical slab had more comfortable restraint harnesses than this one here!\

valsalia

They could potentially solve this problem by hugging each other, but that could become dangerous with the sheer difference in mass involved

valsalia

He's great for situations where you don't need some anxious doctor with shaky hands!

valsalia

As most of the Ivenmoth guard and personnel are base-level recruits; they're everywhere!

valsalia

They've been working hard, I'm sure this guy's fine with laying there for a few hours to give the nurses a nice break.

valsalia

Prolly has a sleeping bag he cocoons in at the end of the day somewhere

valsalia

Very slow and deliberate, yes. French vibe = due to choice of facial hair ya think? : D

Estragon

Why, yes. As a matter of fact it did. :-)

Merc Scar

Yeah, especially that 7th panel, like I can full on imagine him declaring himself like "I am Pierre de Beaumont, head surgeon of house Ivenmoth", while he slowly raises up a glass of wine, and taking a draw on a cigarette in a holder. I dunno why, it's just real vivid.

Zhe Missing Drake

Perhaps H.S. Merrs and Kass can find common ground over a tureen of escargot? Also: computer train wreck last friday, only just today got zhe Deviant Art and zhe Patreon cars back on zhe tracks. But will zhis "new-old" laptop locomotive have zhe power to pull it all?

Magitechnician

You know most of the time I’ve been impressed with your ability to have punchlines in each page without feeling out of place or interrupting the flow, but some in this last arc feel forced to me, like this or the cut aways to the derpy scav of the hit squad. I worry you’ve put too much priority on the goal of having punchlines, but imo they should really take a back seat in times like this, especially with the tonal dissonance present in times of mortal peril
