Ohh The poor boy. Who knows how young he was, doing this, faced with the realities of being a soldier. I'm so glad he and Kass made it through this

kurogetsui

Certainly adds more weight to all the support Elim has shown Kass in his time of need. Few bonds exist stronger than those of brothers in arms forged in times of war.

Finvaara

Kass is still coming down off of the adrenaline and hasn't even started processing the encounter emotionally yet. That could take weeks, or months, depending on how long he can avoid thinking about it.

valsalia

Heeee's just a poor boy, noooobody loves him

valsalia

Kass can go years without thinking about things!

Little Napoleon

So much tree lore hidden in plain sight :o

Thorin N. Tatge

They seem to have different attitudes about death and that's okay

Fox Starwing

Violent death hits everyone differently. You never know how you will react till it happens to you. Looks like Elim is the more sensitive of the two, which will probably be a big help for Kass in the future. Need someone who can empathize well to help with yingification.

Super Shanko

Elim is not having the best time.

Flora P-Stylianides

It really does. Damn u Val and ur sexy character-writing

Flora P-Stylianides

He's just a poor boy without any bud-dies! (because he's got to wait a few years (persumably) to get his emotional support yinglets)
