All right, let's see how this goes! I'll be starting by offering 3 fairly low-priced tiers at first, so that I can judge how well they're recieved, and how much time I spend on the rewards.

If all goes well I might open up higher tiers, but I want to make sure I can deliver on all the rewards first!

I had hoped that you would open up a patreon, so am more than happy to throw a few dollars at the starving yinglet fund :D

valsalia

Well thanks a lot! Didn't you mention that sometime before in the comic comments? Because it was a steady stream of exactly that sort of thing that finally got me to get this thing started.

You have received a curse from the imp here. The curse of money! May you be able to buy food and live a glorious life, but secretly know that your soul belongs to me!

Super excited to see you starting up a Patreon! ... which raised the question, what would a yinglet do with human money anyways? You can't eat money.

Anonymous

I think I asked you two years ago on DA if you'd make a Patreon... and jeeze, it took you long enough!

Pangolinasaur

I eagerly await every update of your comic and have recommended it to everyone I know.

Chris

Happy to support your comics, I'm always anticipating an update when I check your site - so I'll gladly help to make them a bit more frequent. You're a great storyteller, please keep it up.

Shodow

Congratz on the Patreon launch! Glad to be able to contribute again :D

valsalia

Yeah, they gotta have the concept of exchanges of goods and services explained to them, but afterwards, they tend to be pretty money-oriented in their scavenging!

valsalia

Yup! Took long enough for people to wear down my "DON'T GIVE ME MONEY" defenses

valsalia

Eyyyy, thanks a lot! It really does mean something to hear this comic has grabbed someone's attention that much.

valsalia

Well awesome! This is definitely going to keep me drawing more, as it's a direct money -> drawing time equation at this point, so you're directly speeding things up a bit!

valsalia

Thanks! And glad you decided to, if only because I can offer sketches and stuff in return now.

Always wanted to support you, but i'm so forgetful. So, now i'm happy to provide some possible support.

Serylis of Five

Embrace the dream. What I really wanted to say though is that I fully support this silly little universe and I am only too happy to let myself immerse in these waters, let them swallow me up whole. I am glad that I can offer my support here, and I thank you for your work to date.

Grats on the first goal being met!

Oniroy

Congratulations on hiting your first goal! <3

More Isher. I mean, congrats and all, but more Isher.

Vodyanoi

Congratulations, and ignore the Isher fandom. More Yannit!

Thannak

Here's to hoping you don't go the Kenno Arkkan route and get so bogged down in rewards they overshadow the main comic...

valsalia

Oh yeah, I remember you saying that! Thanks for following through on that. It has earned you sketches.

valsalia

Well you're certainly welcome! I started this whole thing for practice and because it was a story I'd enjoy telling, so I'm really glad it's become something that can support me financially as well.

valsalia

Man, seriously! Didn't expect that to happen anytime soon, let alone within the first 24 hours!

valsalia

I thought I'd have at least a couple weeks to think up more than the one goal but NOPE

valsalia

Honestly, that was my biggest fear and what kept me from opening a Patreon for so long, which is why I'm starting with easy-to-complete rewards at first. I'm going to see how long they take, and only offer higher tiers if I'm absolutely certain I can offer the rewards without delaying the actual comic releases.

this is great! I wanted a way to support and i'm having trouble with paypal.

As long as I get to see more of Vizlet's dreams I'm happy. Congrats on finally making a patreon!

valsalia

Interesting- I didn't think of this as a possible upside to using the Patreon system, but there ya go!

valsalia

Given that you're not the only one that's mentioned this, it's probably an inevitability.
