Ran likes to watch the rats fight.

And though yinglets themselves know they're lower in the social order of the world, being a female is regarded as being nobility, thus Lopin's misunderstanding of Kass' feelings on the matter.

Also, starting on this page, I'll be including HD versions of the pages on release, with the text bubbles turned off.

HAHAHAHA! Even better than I had imagined. Wonderful example of miscommunication due to differing social norms.

Carakav

Two thumbs up!

Aethel the Unwise

Also, yinglets can blush! Or at least pale-furred ones can.

Villicent

Ran is an absolutely savage bastard.

valsalia

A hard enough blush can penetrate any outer layers!

valsalia

human thumbs or yinglet thumbs? Because I'll take the human ones, but those yinglets have short grabby little fingers that are probably sub-optimal for thumb-upping things

valsalia

The key is to not have any norms, and then there's no miscommunication! (Also probably no civilization)

Maradrax

Thought I would mention that the Archive for the website doesn't have the latest pages, it stops at 41. I hope this helps!

Aethel the Unwise

In that case, I smell a poll! What would make Kass blush hard enough to show through her fur?

Ramble

*gasp* high resolution comic. gigantic blushing yinglet. *gasp*

Flaps

*Gasp!* Also, will we be getting backlogs of the high res comics? I need this for discord emoticons.

valsalia

Yes, thanks for the reminder! Knew I was forgetting something...

valsalia

This begs the question of if something can be savage if it is also funny.

valsalia

That's the resolution they get drawn at, so I figured it wouldn't be much trouble to add hi-res versions in, right?

valsalia

Good idea; maybe at some point!

Ramble

No, the trouble comes when fans start filling in their own scripts. :) Belated congratulations on doubling your original goal, by the way, and sincere thanks for all your hard work.

Love how Lopin equates the portrait of the Handsome Human with a coquettish smile, to that of a grumpy scowling yinglady - makes you wonder about yinglet beauty standards, considering Kass has looked anything but upset around him yet is 'so-pretty'. Maybe the males are just used to being harangued and have adapted? (though most other yingladies seemed to be the cheerful sort) By the way, the scale of human-to-yinglet - how big are they? It almost looks about 3/5 the size of a human in this comic (Lopin almost comes up to the chest), but then I think of common comics where they were carried... I know there's going to be some variation but how tall are they generally?

valsalia

Lopin's just a bit in the foreground in the first panel, and ying-Kass is enlarged for comparison purposes in panel 4; the average yinglet tends to be between 3 and 4 feet, and largely depends on if you count ear-height or not. Kass does look pretty small when he's being carried by Isher, although that has more to do with her being pretty big!

Cam Pianzola

I was half expecting Lopin's brain to just explode.

Cam Pianzola

This was the perfect page to start uploading the HD versions. On this page you don't know the know the story or what they're saying to completely understand what's going on and it's really funny.

I actually think a detailed description like that -is- a pretty solid lead for the guards. A lot of the time when someone mugs you or the like, you don't remember much in the way of details, let alone where exactly their scars may be. Well done, Lopin! Also--if a female adult yinglet is a 'yinglady', is there a word for a male adult yinglet? Are they more formally just men and women, like humans? This would be consistent with the later theory that Trademaster Viracroix's 'amazing woman' is actually Vizlet.
