Today, I'm speaking about the recent challenges and successes of life as a freelance creator, including the touring cycle of Magic Cons and the financial pressure from taking sponsorships. I've been working on Rhystic Studies full-time for 2 years now (and part-time for 10!), and ultimately, Patreon has been the keystone to the channel's success. Once again, thank you so much for trusting and believing in the work.

I then field some questions from Patrons that were submitted in the Discord. Topics include killer paintings of dragons, the tumultuous future of Universes Beyond, and the shift away from producing the Artist Studies series.

This podcast is now available on Spotify. Search "Rhystic Studies" and link up with your Patreon page for access.

Congratulations Sam on your pending...oh..."it's a secret". Richard a fellow Buffalo from Seattle. Happy for you buddy.

Congrats Sam. Loved this episode, especially the detailed answer on why you don't do artist features anymore. And yeah, the Post Malone Tiny Desk performance was magical.

Congratulations, my friend! What inspiring work and dedication.

It’s funny. I can name many Post’s songs I’m emotionally bound to, and Sunflower certainly make the list. Fun fact, it’s my wife’s favorite flower, but that’s just some random fact, I’m sorry. The tinydesk session you mentioned got me emotional as well. I also got emotional while listening to you in this podcast, and damn it, I’m not even half the way through it. I’ve been out of my parents house for about a year now, just married, and this financial struggle to make sure everything is covered up for your future is something I can relate very well. Thanks for sharing, I’m glad to hear about all the great news. Wish you the best! Can’t wait to hear more about the prop… Oh, my bad 👀

Catching up on these, I'm not prepared to run out. You're an inspiring human and I'm at a loss for words to appreciate you and your art fully. So just thanks, man. Congrats from the past
