Finally!

Friends...I've finally finished this update! 😭Whew... it really feels like forever since the last release.

In this update I wanted to show a little more of each character, so there are several added scenes that weren't in the original draft. After reviewing everything, the pacing feels much better now, and I think I want to keep this style of pacing moving forward. It might mean future updates will take a similar amount of development time, but honestly, I think it's worth it.

This update covers DAY 7 of the story. What happens a week after Calanthe's arrival, how Allen's relationships shift, and a few setups for future storylines with characters who haven't appeared yet.

For the next releases, I want to emphasize more choices that will shape who Allen becomes. I know the changes are still small right now, but I want to start making Allen's personality shift based on his influence stats, not only in special scenes but also in normal interactions.

I haven't really talked about this before, but right now we're in the middle of ACT 1. How many acts will there be? I'll talk more about that in another post. Just know that the current story is still barely scratching the surface, so expect a lot more content in the future. 😉

Now for the technical stuff...Those big, annoying text boxes blocking your view? They're gone! You can now adjust their opacity in the settings. It looks so much cleaner and better now.

And finally... the Android version. 😎

With this update I managed to create a working Android build. I tested it on my tablet, and it runs fine without any issues. The only thing is that transitions might get skipped and the soundtrack or sfx may have a slight delay. I think it's because tapping is faster than clicking with a mouse.But hey, the important part is... it works, right?

Some notes: -When the boys are getting the volleyball equipment, I think it’s supposed to show Allen carrying one of the poles by himself based on the dialogue, but I don’t think the images did a good job of showing that. -When walking Rika to class, her line “What if next class is with Ms. Naomi?” sounds like it’s missing a “your” or “the” in it somewhere. -Lyla doesn’t seem to have an affection stat even when you gain affection from her. Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for the feedback! You're right, it looks like I missed a few details. The scene was meant to show that after they pick up the poles, they just need to grab the smaller equipment. As for Lyla, her affection is being tracked. It just isn't showing up on the stats menu yet.

Another suggestion--maybe give Calanthe some more varied dialogue based on Allen's influence level? Either like a "I might need to up my temptations to get him to fully buy into this" or "He's progressing exactly as I hoped" sort of a thing? Not sure if my runs just aren't different enough to get that, but I figure Calanthe should react somewhat to Allen using the breathing technique to curtail her influence, especially if it is something used by what I presume is her enemies.

One final note after playing through it again, I think the game could use a little more focus on how this corruption is affecting the various girls outside of when they're having sex with the MC. Right now we get Calanthe influence into sexy time, and then the girls have only a minor reaction at best to having sex with Allen a few minutes prior. We get a little of this, but overall it seems remarkably subdued given the implications for everyone outside of Evelyn. How much do they remember of the sex? Do they not really question why they were suddenly compelled into having sex with one of their friends almost spontaneously?
