Sometimes, not often, but sometimes, someone post something that is just the right thing I need to do at the right time. This Death of Stalin reaction is such a thing

Steve Mercier

Arrrgggghhhh...I have to get up in the morning. Stupid job. Stupid need to...you know, eat and stuff. Stupid. Just stupid. It's all stupid. Going to watch this tomorrow.

UGH my stupid job got in the way of me posting this earlier. We need to get rid of these jobs haha -Sam

Chris Bruneau

Well, that was a black comedy!!! Welcome to a peek at the former Soviet Union, y'all :)

I always watch the youtube edit but since this was my pick I watched the whole movie for the first time with you guys. I am glad you guys got this movie, how it is meant to be received. It helps to have humor while seeing such dark realities. Steve Buscemi really carried this movie along. Michael Palin who played Molotov you may remember as the Roman with the lisp in The Life of Brian. Molotov is also where the Molotov Cocktail gets its name. The Finns were being bombed and he called the bombs food baskets. So they made the Cocktails to attack Soviet tanks and said they would go well with his food baskets. And yes the name is pronounced Row-Core. It's the Minolta brand of lenses.

That’s my evening sorted!! Get in!! 🙌🏾

This is such a fun movie and I'll probably watch the entire Patreon reaction. It does such a good job of making satirical fun out of such a dark time - Stalin's rule and subsequent power grab after his death. Masterfully written. Glad you guys saw this one

TBR Schmitt

Yay! A first full length for you! So glad you enjoyed the reaction! This was such a great film! Thanks for all the background! -Sam

John DiGiantomasso

Great job on this one. I figured you two were clever enough to get the humor of this movie! I am glad you enjoyed it, and I very much enjoyed your reaction.
