Thought they nailed the Nora scene, especially Bella, but she's back to irking me again aside from that! Some trivial but strange changes/writing choices as well this week that we can't talk about for 18 months apparently* The show hasn't given enough of Dina's motivations, but I don't buy that she'd use the murder of her parents as a reason to keep going after the person that murdered Joel. Aside from one line ("I loved him [Joel] too"), that's all we've had regarding Dina's feelings re Joel. To me it made more sense to stick to the, "You go, I go" narrative. *After my hope that S3 might drop early, apparently it's not even shot (I find this hard to believe but anyway), which means prob at least 18 months to wait after this season. (According to The Guardian in the UK)

I gotta say, Dina has been the highlight of the entire season so far. Isabela Merced is doing an incredible job, and I'm quickly becoming a fan of her. That story about Dina's first kill was tragic and the messed up thing is, in that world, it's a general thing that would happen. Pretty fucked up.

I think Dina not going back is more complicated than just what Ellie wants or does. Dina in this episode talks about her loss of family. And in a previous episode she tells Ellie that, "I loved him too," regarding Joel. Based on what Joel said in the first episode about Dina, I think there was a pretty strong surrogate father/family relationship between Joel and Dina. I think Dina is there for Dina and wants revenge just as badly as Ellie.

The way that cordyceps spreads is by the spores. The way the spores get in the air is for ex. the real cordyceps will infect an ant, and drive the ant to a high place and then the ants head will explode, spreading the spores all over the area, contaminating all the ants in the area.

Nah, The Scars' messiah is some girl that got killed by the WLF. When Isaac was torturing the guy in the prev. episode they talked about her and Isaac told the guy "She is just an normal person" and they were arguing about her status as their deity.
