I know this is Jason. Barely remember it. Except the girl and her little jean shorts. It made an impression on this kid when I watched it in 1988. High school. Yep 😉😁

LOL, Sam's plaintive "Close your doooorrrr!" early on was hilarious.

Now y'all have seen the beginning of Jason's reign of slaughter. Some points I'd like to share: - Paramount asked Friday the 13th writer Victor Miller to write a sequel and make Jason the killer, but he tried to make this an anthology movie since Jason was clearly dead. So the studio tasked another writer to bring Jason to life. - the campfire story was indeed suppose to describe what happened to Jason and what led him to pursue a life of vengeance for his mother. Still, the story doesn't make any sense whatsoever. - Adrienne King, who played Alice the final girl of the original, retired from acting after this movie due to an obsessed fan stalking her. I do hope in the future, if at all possible, y'all will continue reacting to the franchise. The evolution of Jason with each installment is pretty cool.

Brian's Dog

Definitely continue, it continues to be similar fun for a bit.

You know you're in for a really fun reaction when Samantha's hand is constantly drifting up to cover her face 😂 The series is definitely worth continuing at least through Part 4 which was originally meant to be the last one (the series gets pretty weird after that). Unfortunately, the fate of Paul and Ginny is never addressed again after this film except in some fan fiction. The MPAA was pretty brutal in demanding cuts to the violence in the F13 sequels and part 2 is one of the ones that lost a lot in the editing. A few years back, some of this deleted footage turned up on a VHS tape held by one of the film's FX artists. https://youtu.be/JG5ZXYRvsWI?si=_qBqbAS0PW3oK3at

How the hell did this beat Scream 4?

Haha thank you for this, Lee! That is very interesting! It definitely felt strange to bring him back after the first one, but sometimes you have to suspend your belief for these films haha enjoyed it very much! -Sam

LOL my heart always hates me in October! oh that's very interesting! It still felt pretty brutal for some of the scenes but the first definitely felt so much worse! -Sam

Tom Savini, the legendary makeup artist who did the first F13, comes back to do the effects on Part 4. It also had some major cuts but, like Part 2, you can find some of the deleted footage on YouTube.

Fun and enjoyable reaction ,looking forward to continuing and Jason reaching peak aura Also a little worried that cats are going to start going missing around Sam's neighbourhood

Ginny is considered by most fans as the favorite final girl of the franchise not because she fights back but she actually uses her brain. The setting up of her being a child psychology major wasn't just a throwaway line, it established how she will (almost) outwit Jason near the end of the movie and her character gets a lot of praise for being someone who is able to judge Jason at this point thru psychology. (And if you were wondering why she didn't use the chainsaw on him more she got him in the arm and the chain locked up) Then you have the mystery of Muffin. If that was Muffin at the end then what the heck was with the look-a-like dog that Sandra and Jeff find? Personally I think they shouldn't have included that scene with them finding the "dog" because it makes for a better payoff for Muffin to appear at the end. Lastly, the mystery of PAUL!!!......What happened to him at the end? No clear answer has ever been given in the 44 years since this movie came out. His character is just written out of the movie leaving his fate ambiguous. There has been a lot of fan speculation over the years that he was actually killed when he and Jason fight in the main cabin and his appearance at the end was just a hallucination by a traumatized Ginny, hence the reason she was calling for him in the ambulance.
