Can’t go wrong with any of these

Almost no one has reacted to Mississippi Burning. Great Gene Hackman movie. Not entirely accurate but the facts are there and it doesn’t sugarcoat everything.

Florian Meier

All Great !!! But Mississippi Burning is a Must !!! Gene Hackman once again is sooo good ... Also Fatal Attraction !!! One of my Favorite Films of All Time... Glenn Close and Michael Douglas are Fantastic... Also Paul Newman in the Verdict !! You must all 3 Guys ;)

Gary

Fatal attraction is about all I would recommend for entertainment, there's quite of lot or tear jerkers there. . Really would be good to see more British, Australian and New Zealand films on these polls.

TBR Schmitt

I accidentally almost put it on both! Daniel caught it haha -Sam

The Color Purple and Born On The Fourth Of July are big standouts for me, they'll both make you cry but also marvel at the spirit of your felllow humans. Whoopi Goldberg's first role, she was amazing, Tom Cruise, I don't know if it's his best performance but he makes me cry every time, one scene specifically just crushes me and I can't even see him as the same guy who runs like a Terminator and leaps onto planes.

Mike the Ginger

Mississippi Burning gets my vote, with Fatal Attraction a close second.

Backlog Andy M.

The Verdict, Fatal Attraction, wow the killing fields. Mississippi burning is great acted film. But hard watch as well!

Hans Engelen

The only way to experience the 80s ... Watch Miami Vice ... The show that changed action TV for ever.

Max Rinaldi

Oh, boy, I cannot decide.

Micah Mann

Sam will love the Color Purple. Just have the tissues handy. ❤️

ChopSockey

The Verdict is a stunning courtroom drama and one of Paul Newman's best. I know it won't win but Sam will love this though she will be so tense throughout

John Fitzpatrick

I didn't see it until I saw the second poll.

David Wilkins

Yes, it’s been my monthly drawing entry a few times, and is again for this month.

David Wilkins

I’m thrilled to see Mississippi Burning with the early lead. It’s a hard hitting true story with an outstanding cast that includes Willem Dafoe, Gene Hackman, Brad Dourif, Frances McDormand, and others. If it wins, I can take it off my list of monthly drawing titles.

Shehab Dawoud

The top 3 barely have any reactions on YT and they're incredible films. I don't know what's going on in Reactorland

David Wilkins

Most of them seem to be slaves to an algorithm. And a lot of it seems to be lack of knowledge and exposure. So many great movies need a new audience.

Paul Cox

A few other channels have had difficulty getting The Color Purple past copyright. It's possible, but it might require a lot of edits, re-edits, and edits to your re-edits. Doesn't appear it will win this time, but make a note for the future.

Florian Meier

Fatal Attraction is one of my All Time Favs !!! Such a Brutal great Fucking Film !!! Also M. Burning ... Gene Hackman was soo damn good in this

Backlog Andy M.

Yep and a birth of term here for certain women 😉

Donna Castellano

Mississippi Burning is such a good one. One of my favorite Gene Hackman (RIP) roles.

Smooticus

The Verdict - one of the best courtroom dramas ever

Smooticus

I can't believe how far off the map The Color Purple is nowadays. a fantastic movie that launched the careeers of Whoopie Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey

David Wilkins

Sam and Dan, this is an excellent category. Every one of them should be featured at some point. And beyond “Best Picture” status, the 80s produced a treasure trove of wonderful movies that didn’t get nominated. Same for the 70s and 90s.

Claudia

man wish Ordinary People would be reacted to.
