Like Game Night , i had pretty low expectations for this and ended up pleasantly surprised. Being a loooonnnggg time DnD player, i found the movie a hoot

Tyler Foster

Game Night is one of the top movies I wish could've been reacted to on here, next to the Coens' True Grit and Erin Brockovich, but this is good too. I also have huge fondness John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein's first directorial effort, the 2015 Vacation reboot/sequel.

Steve Mercier

"What is it exactly that you bring to this?" "Me? I'm, I'm a planner. I make plans." "You've already made the plan. So, what value do you have now?" "If, uh, the plan fails, the existing plan, I make a new plan." "So, you make plans that fail?" "No." "He also plays the lute." "Holga, not relevant. Trust me, I'm indispensable."

Dylan

Two reactors I follow watching this movie within a few days of each other... aah screw it, it's fun enough to watch twice.

Don't worry, Daniel, I'd play D&D with you if I could. I'm not GREAT at it, but I've been in campaigns before. lmao I was a fighter Dragonborn. This was a much better than I had expected it to be. Mostly just reminded me that I need to catch up on Critical Role. 🤣 Speaking of, their D&D streams led to the creation of their animated show based on their characters and story. It's called "The Legend of Vox Machina" and it's on Amazon Prime. I highly recommend it.

I also have always wanted to play D&D, I tried once in high school, had a bad experience, but it was always something I wanted to get back to. Anyway this movie is so fun, I was bummed it didn't do better financially because I would love a sequel. Bradley Cooper's cameo, I wonder if he was offered the lead role but for whatever reason didn't do it, but he liked the project and asked for maybe a smaller role, and they were like, "A smaller role? We can do that." One Easter egg I have to point out because as an 80s kid I got it on first watch, when they're in the games, one of the other teams is the team from the 80s Dungeons and Dragons Saturday morning cartoon, it's the same characters, I was young but I remember watching that show. And wow, now I'm seeing trailers for a Masters of the Universe (He-Man) reboot, hope it's better than the last time they tried.

Great film. Another good fantasy film: Stardust (2007)

For more Michelle Rodriguez I hope you watch the Resident Evil films some time, they're a lot of fun. You haven't seen IT??

Donna Castellano

You guys either missed the end credits scend or didn't post it with the reaction. It's a small snippit but it's with the character who was still awake in the cemetery. He's still sitting there, begging someone to ask him a question so he can go back to being dead.

Matthew Maxon

Some may have missed it but the cartoon D&D characters are in the background with the maze. I dont think Sam and Dan know who they are/were.

Aaron Barlow

I love this movie being a long time D'n'D fan and a fantasy fan. There are some great action sequences, some genuinely funny moments and heartfelt emotional moments. This movie has everything.

Aaron Barlow

If you played Baldur's gate 3 it has a lot of the D'n' D lore in there that you can find in this movie, from Intellect devourers to Displacer beasts, druid shapeshifting and the Underdark etc.

Vincent Hollow

This was so fun! Watched it with my partner and we both lost it at the chonky dragon bit! A stunning resemblance to their cat 😂
