Help pick the Time film we will react to!

Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

NOTE: Polls have a shorter duration! Make sure to vote!

Daniel has seen Looper, so it would only be Sam's first time watching! Sam has seen The Lake House, so it would only be Daniel's first time watching!

Gary

Predestination is probably the best time related film outside of Back to the future, this has to win. Source code is a good concept in principle but it's like they gave up on the script half way through and ended the film way too soon. Time Bandits should definitely be in this list! You loved the Monty Python films after all.

Garry Michael Allen

There are too many great movies in here but it has to be Triangle. If for no other reason than for it to take up less votes in the monthly polls.

Chris

I can't believe Triangle and Coherence are on here, I love them so much lol unfortunately they'll never win

bobbylinkin

Out of time if we hadn't seen that already

Roy Wright

A lot of good ones here. With all that I took Happy Death Day lol. Love that movie

Birdie Num Num

Can you try out a Biopic poll sometime? or a Romance poll? thanks!

Samwell

Lot of good films to choose from. But my favourite would be About Time. I won't be surprised if it doesn't win the poll, but I highly recommend anyone to watch it, even if you don't like romantic movies. It has a lot of heart and will surprise you.

Miles E Coburn

Have you both seen "The Time Machine" (1960)? If not, it's a major omission on this poll.

jjkcharlie

The Philadelphia Experiment isnt a bad movie. I liked it.

Birdie Num Num

Have they seen Palm Springs? Surprised its not on the poll.

Ian

I can say with total certainty you would both love pleasantville , I saw it for the first time about a year ago and it's great , doubtful it's going to win but I hope down the line you're consider it again , you can thank me after 🙂👍

Paul Cox

It was on an "Our Picks" poll a few weeks ago. I voted for it, but it never had a chance.

Tyler Foster

Perhaps they didn't want to poll it again so soon as it was on one of the Our Picks polls a few weeks ago.

Luetin

Primer not at the top, is absolutely crazy.

Tyler Foster

Yessss. Current leaders Happy Death Day or Looper, I will be happy either way.

Tyler Foster

I have. I wasn't nearly as impressed as some other people but I would give it a second shot to see if my feelings changed if it were to get a reaction. As far as the underdogs go, I'm in the camps of Coherence, Timecrimes, and Triangle.

Jay Davis

Lots of solid choices. But The Final Countdown, The Philadelphia Experiment and Sleeper stand out to me.

Tyler Foster

I wouldn't put too much weight into the voting on the Our Picks poll. I think the nature of those polls leads to clearer and more decisive winners, but another batch of competitors and it could easily be a Palm Springs blowout. Wasn't it up against Project Hail Mary?

Amper Sand

Sleeper 1973 :))))) Has no chance but was such a briliant and influential movie. Only remembering the absurdity of a full body cloning from a nose make me laugh even now, Woody Allen at his best :)))) Voted for Looper and Source Code. Other good additions would have been 2011 In Time and Christopher Reeve's 1980 Somewhere in Time

Birdie Num Num

This isn't a recommendation for a poll(since I imagine no one has seen it) but a rec for the noir buffs - Repeat Performance (1947) - is a great noir that involves a time loop.

Allister Fiend

12 Monkeys with Brad Pitt and Bruce WIllis

Future Boy

Triangle is one of my favourite films. I've chosen it almost every month since you started the spin wheel. It clearly isn't going to win, but I'm glad it's on your radar. It has strong horror elements so would work very well in October!

Duncan

Super excited for the last poll winner IT (1990) 🎉🤡

Future Boy

I think they should watch them both together for the ultimate Mindfu*k week. Sam would go nuts trying to solve the strange mysteries in both of them, and there's some gore in Triangle for Daniel! The outro discussions for these two films would be epic.

Future Boy

My vote for Triangle in this month's spin wheel is ready to go!

Michael Seaney

We are missing the classic… The Time Machine. (1960) Surprised it didn’t make the list. 😁

ZoeLo

I love Sleeper too.

Matt

Time Bandits 1981

Dave Carmichael

I think About Time is the only RomCom on this list and it actually deals with some of the inconvenient consequences of time travel. Some of these titles hardly qualify as time travel movies, like Source Code, Frequency and The Lake House. Of course Happy Death Day is just junk.

Paul Cox

The topic is "Time," not time travel.

Jen Barnes

Pleasantville and Frequency are two of my favorites, but there are a lot of good films on this poll.

thebeefmaster

A couple of less well-known movies for another "time". Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel (2009) Safety Not Guaranteed (2012) Excellent list, BTW.

Guston Zimasheen

If there's ever a comedy time travel poll I'd suggest you include: "Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel" (2009) "Hot Tub Time Machine" (2010) "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" (1991)

Future Boy

I love Safety Not Guaranteed! I clicked on it at random a few years ago on Amazon Prime, went in completely blind, and was truly shocked that it was one of my favourite films of the year.

Donna Castellano

Oh man. Frequency is so good. I hope you watch it soon.

Brad P

Coherence and Timecrimes are both fantastic!

Eric

I’m sad Coherence stands no chance.

Daniel Gurney

I came here stoked to vote for Timecop, but it wasn't on the "time" poll, unfortunate.

David Martin

How could you leave off "The Time Machine"? The one that started it all? Unforgivable.

Florian Meier

Would be perfect for October Spooky Season !!! Also i hope for "The Witches of Eastwick" in October :) Triangle is a very underrated and great film

Scott CineRam

I love time travel movies! So many good choices here, but my favorite of this batch is Looper. Source Code is a close second.

Will Knox

I never hear Pleasantville talked about at all which is a shame, it's such a great movie. Definitely an underrated gem, in my opinion 🙂

Matthew Maxon

Pleasantville is a real surprise & I know you'll enjoy it.

Nikki Sonrisa

Frequency is so good and doesn’t get nearly enough reactions! I’m crossing my fingers they get to it eventually. I also think they’d love Pleasantville; it’s one of my favorites of all time 🤩

David Wilkins

I absolutely love Pleasantville, and it would make a great reaction.

James

About time. Criminally underrated on this poll

Tyler Foster

Would be nice to get Looper *and* Pleasantville, IMO!

Ryan Holmes

I’ve never even seen coherence in a poll but it’s such a good movie

thebeefmaster

The top 3 plus Predestination and Primer would be nice.
