Adam Goldberg is surprisingly good as a hitman, Mr. Numbers. I always associate him with his characters in Saving Private Ryan and Dazed and Confused, but he's great in this.

I love this series but no way could I live in Fargo...everyone is such slow talking and takes forever to get to the point. If I call my brother and am kidnapped in a trunk, my first line is going to be "I AM KIDNAPPED AND IN A CAR TRUNK!" not "well you see I'm in a trunk...uhhh a car trunk...what I'm saying is I'm kidnapped dontcha know" and his brother "whats this then?"

Yes, Keith Carradine’s older half brother is David Carradine from Kill Bill. Keith is a wonderful actor who actually won a best song Oscar for the movie Nashville, which you should definitely check out sometime. Also, Keith’s daughter is Martha Plimpton who played Stef in The Goonies among many other roles.

Dan & Sam, just an FYI, officer Schmitt will reappear in the second season. Just remember the line, "Its like Sioux Falls all over again" this show is fantastic, lots of foreshadowing and great character development!

Somewhat related: After a lengthy delay, season 5 is set to air on Hulu November 22. Sounds like it’s going back to its regional roots, after the misguided season 4, and it involves the original powerhouse team headed by Noah Hawley. I’m optimistic. The original concept is such a rich vein to be mined. Yesterday I drove through Bemidji. Hard to believe all that skulduggery happened in such a pleasant town among the forests and lakes. 😶
