We’re going to be shifting Fargo and Romancing the Stone to Wed/Thurs on YouTube this week so they’ll probably be up a little later on here as well, but as always, we’ll get them up as soon as they’re ready 😊 Hope you’re having a great weekend!

If you enjoy Romancing the Stone, I'd suggest skipping its official sequel Jewel of the Nile and moving directly to The War of the Roses which features the same main cast (Douglas, Turner, and DeVito) in an altogether different story.

Chris Bruneau

Fargo season 1 is great! Season 2 is even better!!

David Martin

Season 2 is sort of a prequel.

Wyatt Nuxoll

Take care Dan and Sam take all the time you need

EdmanXERO

This will be my first time watching Equalizer 2, so this will be interesting.

Robert Boyd

ROMANCING THE STONE is such a great movie. This was done right before Robert Zemeckis shot to super fame with BACK TO THE FUTURE.

Philip Davetas

Oh my effin' hell. I LOVE ROMANCING THE STONE!

KevG

Zemeckis did this under the advice of Spielberg in order to build a rep as a profitable movie director. Zemeckis was pitching "Back to the Future" to several studios, but no one wanted to bite on the "Back to the Future" screenplay since Zemeciks lacked experience.

Florian Meier

Yes!!! Romancing The Stone !!! I'm a Big Michael Douglas Fan, Hope this is the Start of many Douglas Films on the Channel !! "FALLING DOWN", "Fatal Attraction", "The Game", "Basic Instinct", "Wall Street","The Ghost and The Darkness", "Black Rain", A Perfect Murder" and of Course "The War of the Roses" ... The War of the Roses is also with Kathleen Turner and Danny de Vigo ... ;)

Robert Boyd

Interesting. I did not know this.

Florian Meier

Yes !! Big Fan of War of the Roses !!!

Smooticus

Romancing the Stone is great fun, and one of those movies that I'm always surprised I haven't watched more often (although i did see it in theaters when it came out) Equalizer 2 is more good vigilante fun (you might consider the original TV series. It was pretty good also in its day) I can't believe we're wrapping up Fargo season 1 this week

Alex

Yeah! Classic after classic after classic

Birdie Num Num

per wikipedia, Romancing the Stone was expected to flop(the producers of Cocoon actually fired Zemeckis after watching a rough cut of Romancing). Romancing was Zemeckis' 3rd film after I Wanna Hold Your Hand and Used Cars(both are worth seeing - not successful at the time but developed followings over time)

Chris Bruneau

I have to say guys, continuing with these video while working AND having a newborn--I'm really impressed!!!

Mike the Ginger

I have to agree with Kevin Charley. Skipping sequels or doing things out of order is the sign of a psychopath :D

TBR Schmitt

Ooh I like the idea of a Michael Douglas series too! So many great actors and actresses to work through! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

I can’t believe it’s over either! -Sam

chris brown

Looking forward to equalizer 2

Chris Bruneau

My sister had a baby-- she quit her job and our Mom moved in with her for 6 weeks!

Robert Smith

Stopping by just to say hello and show off my new glasses 🤓

Romancing the Stone is peak Douglas and Turner, imo. There's a sequel and another movie they worked together on, War of the Roses. Peak black comedy. Lol Anyhoo, glad you're doing ok ☺️

David Martin

I think you can skip the sequel and go right to "War of the Roses", although I've had a few of my still-married friends say they were uncomfortable watching it!

ShadowVessel π

Lol Yeah, there's some "too close for comfort" stuff in there. Definitely make sure the sense of humor is at full blast when going in.
