Excited for this! And I highly recommend Elvis you don't need to be an Elvis fan to enjoy the story they're telling, however Austin Butlers performance is Perfection in my humble opinion lol

TBR Schmitt

I hope you enjoy it! We got early access! But we're still behind by a few episodes haha Can't wait to hear what you think! -Sam

According to their official history website, the 100th Bomb Group (which the show is about) was called the "Bloody 100th"--it suffered the highest loss rate of any air force unit in WW2, the group strength was 36 aircraft divided into four squadrons, its TOTAL losses were 177 aircraft!!! Holy crap, thats a 497% loss ratio!!

Smooticus

It used to be a better known fact that in 1943 more American bomber crews were lost over Europe than Marines in the Pacific

2 movies I recommend after this if you're still interested in the Air war over Europe are Memphis Belle, and Catch 22 (1970)

Michael Soukup

In the same vein as Smooticus—there is the original Memphis Belle documentary from 1943 and also a favorite Hollywood classic I would recommend—Twelve O’Clock High.

One other film that you both probably saw Barry Keoghan in is The Batman. He played The Joker at the end although his face was only partially visible.

Ricardo Alanis

Barry Keoghan also played the young guy in Chernobyl drafted and ended up in the duty of killing the pets in abandoned cities.

Also, FYI you seem to have a screener and there were 2 minor edits from what is live on AppleTV+ so I had to pause/resume to stay on track.
