I have always heard I Can Do It With a Broken Heart as sort of triumphant! She isn’t saying that she’s been miserable the entire time or that she’s miserable because of the tour. I think it’s a celebration of the fact that she was able to keep going and do her fucking job while her personal life was falling apart. It’s clear from the backstage footage that the majority of the time she’s been incredibly happy! The song is her sharing that she wasn’t happy all the time but I think it’s weird when people think it’s some sort of cry for help or admonishment of the fans. It’s “You can EVEN do it with a broken heart” not “doing this is breaking my heart”
