Many survivors have escaped an encounter with the Harvester, although they do not remember it. It and the younger members of its species lurk deep beneath the surface, emerging only to consume whatever may be unguarded. Bones, scrap, vermin, terrain, gear, survivors...

An adult Harvester Worm has taken interest in your settlement, striking when your survivors are most vulnerable. The monster hunts the survivors based on the noise they make, devastating careless survivors with full-body attacks before retreating underground. The only way to end its assault is to beat the monster at its own game - to dig into the worm tunnels, hunt it down, and kill it once and for all.

This expansion can be added to the Kingdom Death: Monster core game. It features early game gear, a new type of cross-showdown minion, 12 evolving basic hunt events, 5 showdown setups and 3 legendary monster showdown setups to spice up your lantern years.

It can also be played as the People of the Stone five-year campaign, in which the survivors attempt to create a legacy before their bodies turn to stone. The campaign features shorter lifespans, slow but durable survivors, and a unique survival action.

This expansion includes

  • 1x Rulebook
  • Harvester Worm sprues (includes 2 heads, 2 tails, and 16 body segments for the monster)
  • 6 x Harvester Worm AI cards
  • 31 x Harvester Worm HL cards
  • 4 x Harvester Worm Hunt Event cards
  • 3 x Harvester Worm Terrain cards
  • 16 x Ability cards
  • 12 x Basic Hunt Event cards
  • 5 x Bookmark cards
  • 5 x Disorder cards
  • 2 x Fighting Art cards
  • 2 x Secret Fighting Art cards
  • 4 x Impairment cards
  • 3 x Innovation cards
  • 3 x Settlement Event cards
  • 2 x Settlement Locations
  • 1 x Special Hunt Event card
  • 12 x Strange Resource cards
  • 36 x Stone Distillery gear cards
  • 1 x Terrain card
  • 13 x Terrain tiles
  • 5 x Wormlet Mob cards
  • 1 x [REDACTED] Miniature
  • 19 x [REDACTED] AI cards
  • 21 x [REDACTED] HL cards
  • 3 x Card Dividers

Compatibility with 2x2 Reference Cards and Scribe are in progress! This is the final opportunity for revisions and typo checks!

I am currently writing a summary of which extension/content I would like to print. Is it possible that some Gear and some Bridge Cards of this expansion are broken? Or is the loading error due to my internet or a bug in MPC?

CCG Team

Are the dove links working? Though we love mpc for their quality, We really stopped setting up pre-done links since their services break so easily.

Michael Döbrönti

Thank you very much for you fast reply...as far as I continued I think its a problem of MPC. I think all drive links I found yet are working :-)

David Savarin

That s an awesome piece of work, congrats !!! And we all wanted to get a piece of the harvester and get rid of this piece of s€!t gotcha hunt event. Now we can ;)

Tes Breedveld

hey guys, the rulebook didnt download for me , the links has been removed? id like it :)

Steffen Plath

Thanx for the Christmas present :-)

Alexander Freeman

Sorry, looks like the rulebook URL goes down temporarily whenever I export an update! So far it’s just tiny flavor text fixes, though.

Vacona Remere

Any chance for a strain card for the 5 year campaign? I love the idea of an evolving world based on previous campaigns. Also what node are the monsters for?

James Cunningham

Wow!!! Great work guys. Now I need to get a resin printer. I don't think my printers will hack it

Barco

Great work. Do someone know if is there some discount code for MPC active now? I've tested a bunch but no one worked

Lee Anderton

Nearly finished the 3D printing and I'm about to tackle the terrain. Could you please clarify the size of each different piece of terrain tile?

Lee Anderton

I’m so glad I asked as I thought by the look the statues were 1 x 2. For reference is the size mentioned somewhere as I couldn’t see it and when I opened the terrain tile images they all seemed to be different sizes.

Alexander Freeman

Actually, that's not correct. The Stone Statues are 2x1 terrain tiles and all the others are 2x2 terrain tiles. Is this for sculpting 3D model purposes or printing purposes? For printing, it's worth noting that you'll usually use 1-4 Stone Statues in a showdown, but during People of the Stone you might use a lot of them. Additionally, the Gardener Ball tile is optional, as you could just use the Gardener Worm miniature instead, but the art is fun.

Alexander Freeman

Just left a note on your other comment, in case you didn't get a notification for the other one. They are different sizes. Sorry for the confusion!

Alexander Freeman

FYI for anyone viewing - I missed some 2x2 Crafting Recipe cards, so the Gear Card MPC URL is temporarily broken. I'll update this comment once it's fixed. Edit: It's fixed!

Son of Nocturne

On the worm 3d print files, there are two different straight sections: one that is a normal straight section and an unedited alternative version. As far as I can tell they appear identical, what is the difference?

CCG Team

Does one include the base and one not? These files are straight from the modeler so unfortunately do not know personally.

Alexander Freeman

There is a very subtle difference between the two (done by RevampedGame). You should use the normal pieces, but if you want, you can replace one or two with the alternative sculpt just for variety's sake. The alternative one has all the faces in a straight line, while the normal pieces have the faces twist slightly so they don't look so monotonous. If you're finding that confusing, I could just remove the alternative sculpt. It's not intended to be used much.

Question folks, if ordering from MPC, is there a setting that would get the same thickness of card but be cheaper? Every card I have goes into sleeves anyways so I'm not really concerned at all with the feel, just the size/image quality. Also, if I change this will it edit the MPC links at all and mess anything up for others?

Alexander Freeman

I am not seeing an option to change the material for a design once the design is started, unfortunately. There are MPC options to downgrade material from S33 (what we use) to S30 or S27, which reduces the price by roughly 20% or 25%, respectively. You might want to check a bit more about whether there's a loss of visual quality as well, although I'm not seeing one. You can try this link here: https://www.makeplayingcards.com/pops/card-types.html Changing the saved MPC design does mess it up for other people, but it could make it so that _you_ can't access it either! The current process of sharing designs basically bypasses the login check, but only for a specifically assembled URL... and I _think_ that whenever someone changes the number of cards in a deck, that will generate a new URL. Not sure. We just ran into that a few days ago for the first time. Otherwise, I could give you duplicates of the original saved designs, so that you could have a starting point and make changes without affecting the master copy, but there isn't an option to change materials and if you change card counts it might lock you out anyway. Let me know if that still seems useful.

Mike Hamilton

Good morning, thanks very much for the reply! If we are only looking at a 20-25% decrease in costs then it does not seem worth the possible downgrade in picture quality, S33 it is! Thank you very much for this release, I really cannot wait to get this to the table

Chase Ward

Thank you so much for putting so much work into these expansions! If I take the MPC links end then save them and then merge two expansions together (because you save a lot of money by printing say 240 bridge sized cards vs 4 sets of 60 bridge sized cards) would that affect the links that you have posted? I see you explicitly say don’t edit the links and I don’t want to mess anything up. I’m just not sure if it would mess anything up if I save it as a project and then alter it. If you’re not sure I won’t attempt it, I know you put a lot of work into them and I don’t want to change them accidentally. Thanks!

CCG Team

Please do not change our mpc’s. It changes them for everyone. If you want a custom one, you will need to make from the images.

CCG Team

Saving it btw … doesn’t save a copy as you (and I did as well) would think

Chase Ward

Thank you. That’s what I was wondering. I won’t change them. That’s kind of a weird setup they have with saving the links and everything, but their end product is phenomenal, especially with all the work you guys put into the content. Thanks!

CCG Team

No it does not as far as I know make a separate copy. If you alter the deck it alters it for everyone and will take quite extensive work to put it back together again. So please do not alter. ~maximo

Alexander Freeman

I do have backups of the saved project in case someone makes changes, but yeah, don't alter them please! I can share duplicates of the projects, but I'm honestly not sure how well MPC will handle it. We are hacking the MPC website to even make this possible, and I think that changing the card counts might cut you off from your edited decks. Ping me if you'd like to try that out, though!

Alexander Freeman

FYI everyone, someone made some unexpected changes to the deck of Gear cards, so that link will be broken for a bit until we can fix the deck of cards. Thank you for your patience! Edit: Links are updated, with an extra section for the minimum set of playable cards.

Jason King

How do I get miniatures made? Is there a way to get the created online?

Shy Guy From Mario!

So excited to get this popped out! The manual states there was a Gardener worm, but when I check the files it says redacted - Is there a particular reason for this, or somehow with files located elsewhere? Thanks y'all, really just cannot wait to try it!

CCG Team

On our discord? If so, reach out the creator as you may get quicker feedback.

Alexander Freeman

@Shy Guy From Mario! - That was mostly me being silly and trying not to reveal what the second monster was in this overview page. Yep, it's the Gardener Worm, and it's in the files! You won't be missing anything! Good eye in the rulebook's list of contents; I assumed nobody would pay attention to that XD
