looks nice but it does not bring anything new to the table, a 37mm tank buster would be good, the British range could do with some love there is large void to be filled

B. Griffith

The tank buster Stuka and nearly all of the missing British planes have been built, but they were sadly done by request, for commission, and the requesters declined to share the models with everyone like usual. So now they sell them on their website. (Not going to link and give the assholes free advertising.) Unfortunately this causes permanent problems for this Patreon, since he can’t technically do the same plane again. It has to be a different model. All sorts of fun things are imprisoned on their site, like Mosquitos, Typhoons, gliders, all the British big bombers, etc., etc. They aren’t selling them cheap, either. So it sucks.

B. Griffith

Thanks for the new Stuka. Hope you’re doing well!

4P Press Models

That does suck, I would love the tank buster version myself. I asked Roman for a PZL.23, but that, alas, was also done as a commission. There must be a way around it somehow, like a new model with a bit less detail or some such thing.

Arrigo Velicogna

Well, the Ju-87R is an iconic plane for the MTO, so it is indeed filling a gap. I would not say it is not bringing anything new to the table.

Bryan McGrath

I think it will severely constrain Roman in the future. I don't know how much he charges for commissions but I would have thought more Patrons would be better.

eric jonsson

that's unfortunate, the only other company I've seen is rockwork

B. Griffith

Yeah, when I first joined the Patreon I wrote to ask him about this, and I did mention that I hope he got paid a LOT, since the commision-er are now exclusively selling both prints and STLs of his work, forever. (As I understand it.)

Steven Preston

How does one contact Roman to request a commission ( and find the price)? Which I will authorise to share. I want a Beaufort.

Steven Preston

I wanted a Hudson, but it would appear Roman has done one for Rocworks, so I am going to have to pay their high prices 😳

same with me i would like a fiat G50 for the winter war i would also share

i already have warlords stuka painted for the Russian front and printed 6 more of Romans for the battle of Britain, they are in my backlog with hundreds of other models, for me the ju87r is not justifiable it looks cool with the wing tanks but does nothing different on the table, that's why i mentioned about the tank buster at the time i did not know that this and many others had being commissioned and are unavailable from plane printer, many of which are on my wish list, i would just like to make it clear i do appreciate this site and Romans work
