Let's parlay, Patrons! And Patreon followers I guess! It's Liv.

I'm currently scripting a podcast ad and I'm trying to encapsulate what makes the 3BH podcast special. The points that someone might hear and go "wow, maybe I SHOULD check them out", you know?

I thought, who better to ask than the people who listen to us already? So, please drop a comment below with what you enjoy about the pod and what keeps you coming back.

If you have the time/want to of course.

Thank you! :)

I love that you all are hilarious, but respectful, and not afraid to talk about hard issues. I love listening to the conversation episodes as well as the actual plays! I love the deep character development in each actual play.

Shauna Griffis

I enjoy geeky conversations and hearing perspectives I'm not always getting a chance to hear.

Andrew Massey

There is so much that I could say but I'll try and keep it simple. I think the main reason I keep coming back is that you folks play and love TTRPGs the way I do, which is loudly, wildly and passionately. In you, I see an energy that is rarely matched by anyone at my tables but me. You care deeply about the issues the community faces and the people within it and the world needs more of that in every hobby and interest.

David Fryauf

The Joyfulness!! That's what keeps me coming back.

Jerminfested

Hello, Liv!, it's quite a pleasure for me to drop in and say a few words about that. I have been listening for a while and I started listening because it was a DnD, ttrpg based, fun thing to listen to. That and there was a lack of black voices out there. I've stayed for the humour and the funny fun times. And for the learning that has been bestowed upon me. I'm sleepy and using the voice typing type so I hope this all makes sense... Thanks Good Night

Put Her in the Buck.

The plays keeps me involved with how y'all and the guests portrays the characters. Bring life to them in an entertaining and interesting way. Then I do appreciate the perspectives when you sit down and just talk about things which I appreciate.

Edward Verrochi

I think it’s a combination of so many things: your initial outlook for the podcast, your humor, then interaction with guests, actual plays, personalities and your general gusto for the spaces you inhabit. I’ve tried incorporating the advice and perspective when running games for all ages and just want to say thank you for being around. Keep it going!

Ernest Lewis Jr.

The chemistry and empathy of the lead voices on the podcast.

Nia R

It’s the off-the-charts chemistry between the hosts! Y’all have such a good rapport it brings me back every week!

The Halfling henchman

A mixture of many things. Your fantastic actual play and guests. Your commitment to welcoming new people into the ttrpg industry in such a truly merry way. Your amazing passion and energy about the community and your deep investment in solving the issues the community faces. All with a smile on your face, a skip in your step and a whole lot of laughter.

Cianistarle

It's Jasper, obviously. Slightly kidding but I love your actual play epi's and the world building is amazing. It's just so great to hear different fresh voices for a change!

Nicholas Munro Turner

I really enjoy the conversations between the Halflings and also with the Halfling guests. They're really illuminating about the world of tabletop gaming, community and actual plays. The joy you all share for tabletop is infectious and has me laughing like a weirdo when I'm listening to the podcast in public places! I also think that it's really valuable that you're not afraid to tackle difficult issues around inclusion and representation and why they matter. I'm also catching up on Tales of Wagadu and loving it! It's so refreshing to see African culture so front and centre in a fantasy setting!

Brion Harpring

I love getting to learn different perspectives on role-playing, whether it's different game runners running a multitude of systems or the panels that you bring in discussing so many vital topics. Everyone is so insightful so caring and challenging. Your lore drops are an amazing feature and I'm so glad Erika gave you that segment. I listen to a lot of podcasts as I work in the house or review resumes for my job and 3BH is always a the top

inigomontoya

I enjoy the perspectives and laughs. It's like sitting with friends and talking about the world, nerd stuff and cracking jokes.

Rebecca Mergler

I love how easy the episodes are to listen to. As in I can listen to the podcast or TTRPG episodes and don't have to concentrate too much, just listen and enjoy the conversations and games being played. It does my ADHD heart and head good!

nandrusin

A bunch of stuff! You have incredible actual plays, your chemistry is great, you do a good job of interviewing and giving the spotlight to tons of people in the space who wouldn't normal get that attention, and I love when you talk about and analyze issues the hobby has and how to make TTRPGS just better and more inclusive for everyone, particularly POCs. Your also all really funny and are an absolute a joy to listen too!

TracieP

I thought about this a bit, but I agree that it’s you all in particular. I am African American and particularly appreciate the advice you have given in that regard. I love your actual plays as well, especially those that aren’t so based in the stereotypical background or at least tweaked a bit so with some African descent. I’m still looking forward to 3BH dice one day.

Miles Barette-Duckworth

The articulation of your perspectives on everything TTRPG and TTRPG adjacent, the authenticity that you each bring. The guests you feature are always intriguing, the actual plays are phenomenal. Also, the pace of releases is great, there’s always something new to listen to, and it really adds to the experience to have such consistent continuity, it’s similar to checking in with one’s friends every few days

Bosanova_B

The engaging interviews with voices in the ttrpg space that I may not be familiar with is one of the main reasons why I listen. And of course the shenanigans that Liv, Jasper and Jeremy get up to is second.
