Story for Arkylie (first 3K) (Patreon)

I actually have more of this but I am going to finish the chapter before posting the second half.

For everyone else in the audience, this is a sequel to my Star Trek story Guidance, itself an AU to my very lengthy unfinished Only Human. So Q is human, never got his powers back after Deja Q, and has been living on a starbase as a science advisor to the Federation for the past 3 years, slowly sinking into a deeper and deeper depression, until he has a visit from Picard, which convinces him to try to get help for his depression rather than commit suicide. This takes place probably about half a year or so after that.

It's expected to be about 5 chapters. A bounty hunter captures Q for an alien race who want him to serve them; Picard ends up having to negotiate for his freedom.
