Roundup of this month's posts (Patreon)

$2 Patrons and over: The Wolf and the Hound: X-Men incomplete fanfic, unpublished. The story was intended to be about Scott Summers and Magneto running Xavier's school together, back when that hadn't actually happened in canon yet. The portion I've posted deals with the AU split, with Magneto believing Xavier to be dead.

All Patrons: Dr. Ultraviolet Meets Her Nemesis. Unfinished original novel about a supervillain whose base gets destroyed, so she has to go live with her sister, a suburban real estate agent with five kids. Comedy.

Everyone: Twin Poles: Journeyman of Magnetism: X-Men incomplete fanfic, published. My version of Joseph's origin story from before it was established that he actually was a clone. I had him as a clone also, but created for a much more benevolent reason and by an OC I liked well enough to pull into her own novel.

All Patrons: The Maker of Tongues. Complete original short story. This is actually for sale on Amazon Kindle. A little girl and her mother return to their old home, and encounter bizarre events and entities that they take strangely for granted. Heavily autobiographical but nothing in the story ever actually happened; I just dreamed it did. Originally published in "Tales of the Talisman", a small press magazine that paid me in copies.

All Patrons: Welcome to the House of Fun: Incomplete original novel. Belle Resone is one of a group of three teenage superheroines. She's a psychic and telekinetic who's severely disassociated from her own emotions. When her teammates are lured away and captured, she goes undercover into a mysterious hospital to rescue them. Heavily influenced by Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol and anime.

All Patrons: Tainted Blood: Complete original short story. Also on Kindle. A foster kid commands demons, but the power to torture bullies doesn't give him the power to be loved. And then he meets a mysterious man who mistakes him for a demon. Accepted for publication by a small press magazine that then promptly went out of business.

$2 Patrons: Beauty or the Beast: Unpublished, incomplete X-Men fanfic. "Joseph", the clone of Magneto, was made a gender-swapped clone instead. (This was done before Wolverine had a gender-swapped clone.) Miriam's interactions with the world, and the X-Men, are accordingly influenced by the fact that she's a woman, though she has gender identity issues due to an incomplete copy of Magneto's memories.

All Patrons: The Ownership Society. Incomplete original short story about an idealistic lawyer in a libertarian dystopia where children are property of their mothers.
