Shadowhunters is finally here!

I've heard Season 1 is pretty rough, but that's okay.

Bring on the cringe, and the cheese because I enjoy either way!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! 🎁 You sure did pick the best day to watch the 1st episode. As soon as you did the valentine joke I immediately thought “he has no idea what’s about to hit him” 😅 Don’t worry it does get better as the seasons go on! Looking forward to this journey with you.

I also enjoy the cringy-ness of s1! tbh it makes me love the season and the other two seasons even more to see how the show grew! can’t wait to see you react to this show! it’s a comfort show for me!

Gigi

I’ve met the actors of Jace and Alec, had to get my parabatai duo photo op lol!! S1 is pretty bad but S2 evolves in quality so much, and the acting improves as well.

Yeah, the first half of season one is definitely rough, but still very fun even with its cheesy moments. Once it finds its footing though, it gets great! I think the show gets a bad rep because people stop after the first few episodes, but after that hurdle, it becomes my top 3 shows ever! The characters and relationships are top tier when it comes to this show and i can’t wait for you to see it all unfold… ❤️

This show has such a good story. Can't believe you didn't notice old spice. Thought that's what you paused to look at when you trying to see when where it was being filmed

Zac Cochrane

Have you ever seen Justified?

i’ll be honest, i started reading the books when i first watched. and i was laughing at many of the cringe parts but it does grow quickly. the characters and lore make it worth it lol

Jenna96

lol it does get better, still cringy at times but t evens out a lot more. hate to be one of those people. But the books are better lol

brandy-lee

Just realized today that you started this. So excited to rewatch the first 2 seasons and then finally finish watching it with you ! Also glad to have a show to watch with you again! 😂💚

I was obsessed with these books in middle school and was devastated when the movie series didnt work out, so when this show aired I was willing to overlook a looot. I honestly forgot how rough this beginning was lmao. still loved the series though! Also - I believe Kat Mcnamara (Clary) was only 20 when this aired, so she was very close to Clary's age filming this season

Same! I'm back after Supernatural too. I liked it okay in seasons 1-5, but after that...not my thing. But happy to be back!

I stumbled onto your reaction to my favorite show a nd. I am so excited! You have very much the same attitude that I have. It is not perfect and it is cheesy, especially the first season, but I am a rat and I love cheese 😋 You are in for a wild and enjoyable ride. Welcome to the shadow world ❤️

the foreshadowing of simon singing forever young and he ends up a vampire will always make me giggle

whats also funny is that cersei lannister played jocelyn in the movie
