I really enjoyed this episode. It is fascinating how the spell brought out everyone's biggest insecurities and fears. Clary obviously has some feelings about Simon being a downworlder and her not being good enough for him. Jace fears that Maryse resents him and Alec carries tremendous guilt about killing Jocelyn. It is lovely to see Magnus showing that he is a very strong warlock as Jace said in Season 1 when he proclaimed that Magnus can rival the Silent Brothers. We tend to forget that because of Magnus' mild nature. It's a bit of a trip to see Maryse so vulnerable and the close bond they have as a family. Izzy and Raphael - These two are going to break my heart 😔 I can feel it in my bones

I fucking love Izzy and Raphael together, they made me cry so many times when i first saw the show LOL!! also Magnus continues to remain the GOAT!! He's such a powerful warlock

This episode was so great, it's one of my favorites in the entire show, and just like you, when the show was still airing people were complaining about how the writers handled Magnus and Alec's first time, because the promo for the episode made it out like it would be a big part, but it's a short conversation, a quick kiss, then a fade-to-black, plus no after talk no nothing... Of course, people were disappointed. Instead, we got kind of homophobic double standards being thrown at us in the form of Jace and a random NPC nude and grinding together in bed while Malec remains behind closed doors. So I get what you mean. And I like your reactions, always so fun watch!

this is such a fun episode I love it, I agree w you about climon they are better as friends but I can’t blame poor simon for being happy about it, even though I don’t think clary is in it 100%, love alec standing up for himself and magnus and the family dynamics w the lightwoods, but most of all I love how powerful Magnus is and we really get to see it this ep! he’s my fav for a reason !!
