So the blonde girl that they assaulted in the bar is the same girl that went crying to Alicent in Season 1 that Aegon raped her and Alicent just gave her money and sent her away

You can see where Aegon became like that too tho, it is not just Aemond. Aegon has been like this because of the neglect from his family, his mother can't even console him when he cries.

silver hair thing does not always hold up. Like Ulf said, Jace and Joffrey have black hair despite their mother being a Targaryen, while Jon Snow had black hair too despite his father being Rhaegar Targaryen.

Alicent saying something won't change anything. The war is gonna happen regardless. And even if she did not say Viserys wanted Aegon to be king, the green council were already planning to usurp the throne from Rhaenyra. This war is not happening due to a misunderstanding, it would have happened regardless since people like Daemon, Aemond, Aegon and Criston are never gonna back down

These last two episodes are very crucial to the story. This ain't just about dragon warfare. They are setting up characters and conflicts, it was not just exposition. It built characters, set storyline and created conflicts adding depth to many characters so far.
