We're almost done with season 2 and it's so hard to enjoy Xander like...90% of the time. I feel like he's gotten more unbearable since the first season, like all of his awful qualities have been amplified. But other than that, this episode is fine. Feels like it's from season 1, for the most part. Even the cinematography and lighting feel like they're from the first season.
