it’s always bothered me that everybody in this show gets forgiven right away except for octavia. she’s obviously struggling with her mental health and suicidal tendencies but they banish her off to die anyways when they know it’s not safe. instead of trying to help her like they did with every other character that has messed up they just keep throwing shots. it’s ALWAYS rubbed me the wrong way.

Yah same, I don’t get it either like bellamy didn’t seem too angry with her end of last season like when she spoke to him for the sacrifice and then before the cryo, and now all of a sudden he hates her it’s just bad writing there

Jordan’s kind of like a Malia Tate in the sense that he hasn’t got any life experience, I also think octavia is the same having only known her mom and bellamy for 16 years so for all 3 you can see how it’s shaped how they act now

I think people forget octavia hasn’t had even a small good experience at life, like sure the arc wasn’t all fun but at least everyone got to experience real relationships and live, octavia’s first real encounter would be the ground and that hasn’t been a piece of cake, it’s no wonder she’s become this person because that’s all she knows

I would’ve liked to see Octavia be more unsociable in season 1 but she was actually quite sociable, she was only awkward in like first episode

Same!!! I feel like it can make sense that she just wants to rebel a bit but it doesn’t really work realistically speaking, she should’ve been a bit more closed off about things

a thing to note is that when Bellamy was stabbed in the thigh by Clarke in the previous episode, that was good writing to cover up the fact Bob Morley was recovering from knee surgery during filming this season so him having that wound and having him limp around is the perfect covering for Bellamy having a limp. Though poor Bob having to come to set whilst recovering and the fact that during this time he was also being fat-shamed online in the fandom and he was dealing with other stuff behind the scenes aswell.
