Ooooooooh another banger of a season finale.

This season has felt... weird at times, but this episode drives us home and leaves us ready for Season 13

They did Crowley (Mark Sheppard) so dirty. They decided not to renew his contract due to budget cuts. They had to make room for new cast members. Not only did he lose his contract, they cut his line at the end of the episode, which was so good, "Even when I lose, I win". After the episode aired Mark launched an "I Win" campaign where he sold T-shirts with the deleted line. A portion of the proceeds were sent to Camp Conrad Chinnock, a camp dedicated to children with diabetes Mark Sheppard, an extraordinary actor who portrayed one helluva character. 😈

RECAP HYPE. I like that it doesn’t take very long at all before people who meet Cas start calling him Cas. While they didn’t need this recap of the Crowley bit, that brief shot of rat-Crowley watching his vessel get stabbed had me cackling. If they had given the apocalypse world a badness rating of 13/10 it would have been great. BOBBYYYYYYY. F Rowena. I want to say I doubt she and Crowley are gone but the comments here are challenging that idea. Bro Sam and Dean not getting the alternate reality stuff is a little grating. 😅 Like I know they must be having an emotional reaction to seeing Bobby, but them consistently trying to explain to him who they are and not understanding why he doesn’t get it is a little embarrassing. I think Kelly’s “I love you” was sweet. It’s still her baby. The Kelly hate seems odd to me, she was a victim here. I thought the Incredibles 2 was good. Both Crowley and Cas being offed is rough. A little irked that Cas got got by one of the oldest scenarios ever with stepping through the portal and being like “baller I did it” and then getting ganked from the back. This finale feels weird for me. It’s better than a few episodes recently, but I also would probably give it like a 7/10. Not a bad thing to give it, but it feels like it was missing something for some reason, even though we did get a lot of stuff, it feels weird to me. Almost like a movie based on a TV show that ended years ago, or something. Like it feels similar, but also weird and modern? I don’t know. Season twelve is a weird trip. Almost didn’t feel like an official season to me, not sure why. Like you said, it felt like it was going forever. Regardless, twelve is the last season that I have what I would call a decent amount of memories from. I’ve finished season thirteen exactly once, I think. Fourteen I think I’ve seen like an episode, maybe two. Never touched fifteen. Excited to see how this next one plays out. Stopped reading the comments on this post because people seem to be doing a lot of hinting at people maybe actually being dead, or about how things might happen. This one was so densely mythos related that there isn’t anyone listed on IMDb that we haven’t seen already. Other, of course, than the person we see at the end. I know that actor as Lonnie Machin — aka Anarky — in Arrow. 17!
