It is nice when we can make an episode that also continues so many storylines and answers some people's questions all in one.  Some had wondered if Bonbon was still in the city council, others wondered if Spike was still massaging, and some others just wanted to see Isabelle and Grace Manewitz!  There were others who wanted to see a new character like Raven Inkwell! We got to accomplish all that in this episode!  Poor Bonbon isn't remembered though.

Think of the power and things Spike has heard from the ponies he massages!  He might know government secrets!!

Maybe some will know; Raven Inkwell was in the official show as well as comics, but did she ever get this official name of Raven Inkwell?  I kept getting mixed results when looking it up.  Even the MLP Wiki wasn't too certain.  Does anyone else have opinions on the matter?

Borg Lord

I'm answering off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure she's named in the comics. (She's definitely not named in the show, though.)

Tradley

Isabelle does make a perfect pony.

If you want to be really technical about it... The Earth Pony version is named "Raven Inkwell" in merchandise and in the Gameloft mobile game. The Unicorn version is always only called "Raven" in merchandise and in the IDW comics. (There is also a character called "Professor Inkwell" that appears in My Little Pony Micro-Series Issue #8 that could be related to the Unicorn version, depending on how you interpret a slip of the pen on page 18...)

Yes, it gets too confusing! Thank you. We had to choose as well if we wanted her to be an earth pony or unicorn. We choose earth since we decided to make her work in Ponyville at the courthouse, and Ponyville is overwhelmingly earth ponies.

Yes, very! Your welcome. The animation team probably just copy-pasted the "secretary pony model" they already had and added a horn because Canterlot is unicorn majority, not thinking anything more of it. I like to think that these two are sisters and that the Inkwell Family has a history serving Princess Celestia.
