It's only metagaming if you're right, lol.

“My character has heard many bardic tales (of my previous adventures), and as such it is *totally in character* for me to do the thing.”

Thomas Fowler

of course it's reasonable to shoot the scarecrow. it scared him.

Nick

"And what do you request of the great and powerful Oz?" "Retribution."

I have a mimic-management policy that works sort of like this. Once the first mimic shows up, it is automatically assumed that EVERYTHING is a mimic until proven otherwise. Everything.

Randall Norman Pick

This is the adventure with the incredibly creepy haunted house full of hideous haunts and apparations and evil mold, right? Honestly, anything even remotely humanoid in the dark would be chopped to bits after going through that.

Jaxus

What's the old line; "When in doubt - flame about, hear a roar - then shoot some more!". Works for space soldiers on aliens and sorcerers on everything.

Lem, Perfectly Innocent Wizard.

My favorite room in all of War For The Crown is a room with the following description; "The party opens the door, stepping into the room and coming face to face with over a dozen mannequins, all dressed in rich fabrics. Each of the mannequins is positioned to face the door. A heavy coating of dust covers every surface in the room. **There is no hazard in this room, and all of the mannequins are mundane.**" nothing like a healthy dose of paranoia to keep the party moving.
