Hopefully discussion will pick up when we get to more fights instead of just dead villagers.

The sticks she was burning at the end were incense sticks to mourn the death of the shaman and the two lil' daemons. I'm interested in learning the way the village was structured, socially speaking. I'm guessing Fake Asa will clarify that once Yuru saves her. Then the fun will begin in earnest becauce: 1. Fake Asa's other half may show up (I'm placing my money on that girl that was taken hostage with her being the other daemon, she's been caught up in too many situations not to arise my suspicions). 2. Asa will break her contract and Fake Asa may end up bonding with either Yuru's new lil' bro, or with Danji-kun, Yuru's friend from the village. 3. There's gonna be friction between both Asas. That's for sure. 4. The village may start moving in earnest. 5. Yuru and Danji will compound the "startled by every little modern thing" gag to new levels. 6. Left and Right will spend most of the time watching TV. 7. Yuru will continue to make weapons instead of watching TV. This series is my jam, and it's sad that people are not discussing it more. We don't get that many series like this anymore...

I think Danji-kun’s mother is the other daemon. Let’s be honest, lots of orphans spring out of this village. We are not to believe that Danji isn’t an orphan and the woman he thinks is his mother is in fact a daemon playing his mother?

For a moment there, I actually thought that Danji might be the second half of the village daemons. Would explain why none of the cars reacted to him flying around, even though Saori Hayami having the power to turn him invisible while he's on the horse could also work. But then I realised that I'm pretty sure Danji has been seen speaking to other people and was even shot at by the soldiers when they attacked, so that's out - especially since this episode has shown us that none of the villagers can actually see daemons, most notably when sword-guy told the granny that she was hoarding all the powers.

Still one of the best Anime this year. the recap was also made interesting with left and right (and Yuru? Not sure) taking turns retelling the events. I like that the flying horse lady (I am still bad with names) is such a soft, kind, humble individual, but I do have a feeling we might see her going all out one day and that will be amazing.
