Oh yes Chiyo the most hated girlfriend in fandom. Not only her quirks are annoying, she is also main guys cousin and the youngest being 3 years his junior. Author clearly was checking boundries with her being there are no younger girlfriends and we are at 37 now. When you think about it up to Chiyo we were slowly moving overton window 1st Shizuka being small but same age then Kusuri having a 9year old body (and mind) but technically being 18, then mom being a huge age gap but its girl older then guy so it was more passable and then Kurumi who was 1st younger girlfriend but only by a year yet her being in middle school was inicially eyebrows raising and then after a couple girlfriends booom 1st year middle school cousin crash. I hear many dropped after this.
