The ending this season is Myth & Roid! They did MiA movie and S2 endings—I really dig the vibes of the song

Hey Brandon, the Ms. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid movie is out on Crunchyroll if you want to give it a watch. I know you watched Season 2 before you started the full reactions.

I love when dark fantasy series go the "get to know this guy in 5 minutes, watch him die in ten". Granted, poor Nathan didn't die, but DAMN! And all the other little details they gave us so nonchalantly... from fact that Klen just nukes his wand before he can fire a spell, to that "Another World". Theories are flaring in my mind! In that aspect, this reminds me a bit about the plot of the Xenosaga trilogy (awesome Jrpgs from the early 2000s), where there is a relic that grants power to humanity, but it can also turn them into monsters if wrongly used... which happens a lot in that series. Now, if that is the case, and that "other side" where Nathan was trapped while his body was turned into a dark beast is similar to the "other side" that appears in Xenosaga, Tokyo Xanadu and those kinds of games... the implications for what the F is the book of Toa, and what is magic in this series' world are gonna get real cool. It is too sad that people aren't talking about this series, considering what a good jam it is, but them's the bends, they say. The series does come out on Wednesday, when Tanya gives us another class in warcriming like a boss, and in a few weeks, ReZero will be returning, so most would likely ignore Clevatess. But they shouldn't! This is a cult classic in the making, if you ask me. And it needs to be recommended more.

They cooking with the OP and ED this season. Also Poor Nathan man

Crossfire X

Great episode. It's wild that everybody forgets who Rhodes Royes is. He is the commander who fought Drel and knew his limits and stood down, which we rarely see in anime. He also helped Alicia in the final battle as well. He has the Ice powered lance Regalia. Onto the actual episode though, just a wicked little subplot with that student man. Dark Fantasy is so back. Also, an AMAZING opening.

I prefer the metal feel of the first opening (which is sung by the same group as the one who did Barbarian King's opening btw). I really like the scene where the class rep talks to Alicia about that poor kid. The animation is so fluid and nice to see.

I thought the loli student had the same voice as Teoritta from Sentenced to be a Hero, but apparently it is two different actresses. I think that lizard is one form of the giant beast which controlled last season's bad guy. So no. Not friendly. You were making a bunch of jokes about the class rep being a top and such. I'm surprised you didn't comment on her crest being basically a "Sit down" spell.
