This show has gotten progressively more silly and, in doing so, far more entertaining. feels like a 90's anime, and I'm quite enjoying it

22:50 final thoughts on the episode. Let me know what you thought!

Yup, let em cook. That's why I didn't say anything when you said that this show is a more serious show out of the other ones. I don't know how comedic they'll go with anime adaptation, some things they make it much better in the anime, some things it's better read in manga format. In any case it's still a good! Watching anime adaptation is just extra sauce for me. I really don't get people who sometime shits on the adaptation and that things are left out or something like that. No lie there are terrible anime adaptations out there, so far this is not one of them. I'm also glad the art stays consistent, thank god these shows are not getting the new gate treatment or dating sims season 2 🤣

That daughter really reminded me about the blond girl stereotype. With how dense she was to understand that Lock was not her brother.

Espor

I love hoh the beast girl always wags her tail when she sees him^^

SaintLiam

MC swears loyalty to cock.

"Listen, I know you're the only one of us maidenless, and you should find a girlfriend, but could you not have this girlfriend be my own daughter?" Well, it feels like they'll keep the siblings relationship, but it's funny. 10:36 : My favorite mid animation moment ever if probably that time Iana from Dark History was so exhausted that even her animation took a break when she weakly walked to and fell on her couch.

The name "Seraphowl Chicken" reminds me of "Seraphic Chicken", the music theme of a character from the game series Touhou Project. The character is a god of chickens and guard of Hell, and is based on Niwatarijin, a god of agriculture and safe passage sometimes associated with chickens. Maybe this anime's author used inspiration from Japanese folklore like this.

Brandon saying he expects her to be convinced by MC's true identity only for her to respond "my brother is the great sage?" is peak reaction content.

+1 Scooby doo vibes, I had the same thought on my watch.

Was looking forward to this episode. So the part where he tries to set her straight on not being her brother there was a 3 hour long time skip in the manga, so it took way long 😂

Talix Rune

Of those three you compared, this one is easily my favorite. Like you said, it gives some old school vibes, Slayers, Rune Soldier Louie, Sorcerer Hunters. Fantasy action with comedic elements.

ERIC BARTON

Not too surprised. The world of the Black Cauldron had an Oracular Pig after all.
