This season feels the most tightly structured and balanced overall. Side characters I normally wouldn't care about in past seasons steal the show this time around. amazing stuff

You know Hugo the chef did say no to that castle job. Just because he wanted to move the relationship with his girl to the next level. But then she dumped him which is why he was back looking for the job he turned down. But luckily Rosemyne will put him in the same place as Ella as a match maker. And speaking about Rosemyne as a wingwoman. She is trying to set up Damuel and Brigitte as a couple. But the thing with the world building within this show. Is that you mana level need to be of a similar amount if you want to create babies. And carry on the family line. The mana is heritage from the mother mainly as well

I love the side cast of this story as well. And it will be so enjoyable to see them grow up. As this story will take place over a wide enough time span for that

IMO the adaptation is doing a good job where it feels the need of "just in time" story telling to keep the plot reverent and moving, although that does run the risk of making things appear to convent at times. Getting the different types of crafts people working together and producing a working machine as a result is pretty much a low key BFD, and I love how the plot of Bookworm let's Rosemyne be the one who sets it in motion but pulls in experts to do the work instead of being someone who can somewho do it all herself, it makes things so much more interesting and emotionally believable. The foundation stuff was also really important, felt somewhat rushed, but should be enough for people to start seeing how the mana shortage potentially is a bigger problem than may have initially been thought by viewers in previous seasons.

Easy enough in the modern world. Bookworm's LNs give a better intro, but it's not a out of line from how other noble societies work. Family is the business, and continuing the business mean continuing the family line which is not only important to other's in society but also one's bosses which is especially important when there's no such thing as clocking out in a feudal relationship.

I mean even if you don’t like kids, do you not want to continue your bloodline? I mean would it not be a bit disrespectful to your ancestors. If you decided to throw away their hardship and legacy just because of your own opinion?

Igaf about a bloodline, my ancestors are dead why do I care lmao. which is why im so happy modern families also dont care about it and most people only are having kids cause they want them not cause of society expectations. as for a story like this, I would extra want bloodlines to end cause this series sucks for families nobles or not. just a bunch of society pressure

Yeah but that is also why the birth rates are going below the replacement rates. Which is causing huge problems for societies. Plus if we have fewer kids then we cannot say/do “fuck those kids” anymore as much right? Seeing how each kid would be more rare/valuable then if we had lots of kids right?😉 (Or maybe I’m just talking rumbling BS over here😅)
