Teaching Mimi empathy is not a good thing I feel like, if the person is supposed to be a killing machine. As if they start to second guess everything it could turn out badly. Now it also is interesting what they said about the war. Where even the teachers does not know why they fight other then because of the hatred on both sides

Sheena.. I mean.. I can see where she is coming from. War is terrible, killing people is terrible. Having a friend/lover being an ignorant killing machine? Really weird. But... What could we do about it? I thought the same as the nurse. Explain her how bad death is? only so that Mimi drowns in guilt and refuses to go to war? The nurse is saying nobody wants to send her to war, but actually, many will think of Mimi as a very convinient tool - a tool nobody should break. So besides Mimi being taken and Sheena getting hurt. - I can easily see a situation where people notice Mimi changing - and planing to get rid of the reason. That is also where it will be really messy. Also kind of interesting - we know nothing about that war - who are we fighting and why? There could be peace, nations found peace after 30 years of war. But that is also a thing. What do you do with a killing machine when there is no killing to be done anymore?

Sheena seems to be developing some healing magic. Is it because she got it from Mimi or was it always inside her but now she is letting it out for the first time? Either way, since healing magic seems to be relatively rare, I can see a future where she would become the next nurse, since the current one might not be inmortal. It would also give her some value besides being the inmortal weapon caretaker, giving possibilities for interesting storylines.
