"What if he is the heroine now?" i don't think so, he doesn't have the powers. My theory is that Olivia will take back her spot. After all, she has the same powers as Maria. Leon said that she didn't develop a special connection with the princes and thus isn't strong enough, but he keeps forgetting that he is not just a mob to Olivia. He could act as a replacement for the princes. But that leaves the problem of Maria. She is about to get executed or something. The anime wouldn't have bothered with the double reincarnation of siblings if they were just going to get rid of her, so she should still have a part to play. Maybe she will join forces with Olivia because those two final bosses are too hard even for the original heroine? That said, Leon ending up as the saintess would be very funny.
