Wow this felt so short. I wonder if the brother was the actual true goal from the start. Not exactly sure why but.. Maybe he was simply getting too powerful. the empress knows how bad this condition looks and she knows what ritual they might do and who would readily do it, and she knows how to heal the Khan. Wasn't the empress loyal to the Khan?

I'm usually pretty good and predicting what's going to happen based on clues, but honestly have I have no clue. Just a bunch of assumptions with multiple potential outcomes and it could be that truth is something else. Outside of that, this is the first time we've seen something that 'might' be supernatural. The summoning of the storm could've been nature's coincidence or it could've been real magic. I do like how it's left open to interpretation.
