FAV EPISODE OF THE SEASON! I LOVE seeing subaru like this as it mirrors the early stages without being a rehash but stuff like him being reckless with his loops but actually feeling composed to learn is insane to witness

23:10 This is season 1 Subaru mentally wise but not body wise, even though he forgot about it, he still has the factor of sloth and Echidna said sloth as a passive effect to bring Subaru mental state to stability. He actually got called out a few time by Ram and Otto that it was weird that he was so calm despite Emilia being in the middle of a mental breakdown from the trial in season 2. This is a pretty important plot point to remember otherwise it become confusing as for why he can wisthand RbD so much better while back in season one he ended shellshocked after 3 retry on average. He is not immune mind you but it's significantly more difficult to mindbreak him since sloth awakened.----------Next episode is candidate for top 3 episode of all of rezero. I hope they don't butcher it. They never missed until now so I'm cautiously optimistic.

I loved and hated this episode. I loved it because of everything that happened, this is pure re zero essence. I hated it because its over already xD I wonder if we get "our" Subaru back with this - and if we "unite"... And what he might think of as a solution. I mean, he has invisible providence... I wonder if he could suprise Reid in the right moment. Or - Roy, before he gets taken over, because Reid wouldn't be finished off by that, but Roy might... I think the rule breaking is the soul of Reid leaving his trial area, or breaking the tower - either way.

EP lets go. First time this season? Why in the name of God is this the first time Barasu found his own book. Literally the first name I would search in his shoes; not to read but as a proof of concept. Do his deaths have weight TO OTHERS if they occured in current timeline. Not the one he left behind we have that answer from S1. But does it effect the present Betty or Emilia; is the smell the only factor? You get the point Pops. His Book existing quietly says yes to a lot of that. It means that Subaru is technically Undead this entire time as he is truly a moving corpse if he has a book in the library where dying is required to get one.
