I honestly thought he was going to say "Orsted", Old Man Rudy wasn't what I was expecting.

the ponytail is what gave it away for me otherwise I was really struggling at first

This is the actual turning point. The most critical one. Well besides the first. Notice the Fire Place... I do. Seeing it in scenes gets me hyped for the scenes designed around it. A true King... personally, lives in service of his people and listens to them well. You know they are legit because the common folk have nothing serious to complain about objectively. Just imagine how insidious Hitogami is after next episode. That a simple request that is arguably innocent when seen in a vacum... can result in something so precisely Evil on a deeply personal level. As to the previous point; Sure Paul lives but honestly Rudy oogling your cousain may be what jerks focus on but imagine having the accusation that you slept with your dog and cat?

9:20 TFW you realize that your idiot friend isn't actually an idiot.

Bro WTF the plot twist cliffhanger reminds of the slime stuff This is wild And ManGod/Hitogami was really sus with that grin of his—that’s never good news when anime characters flash grins like that 😬

Two of the biggest isekai going the time travel route at the same time.

It took me about three days to dare watch this episode. I have been traumatized by the words "turning point". I had been kind of spoiled for some parts, like how the old man was Rudy, because of all the thumbnails in my Recommended, but I was fearing much worse. I thought this future would happen to our Rudy, but instead it turned out to be one timeline out of many, and he got a huge help from Bad End Rudy and a shot at saving the situation. I like how Ariel is clearly inexperienced in the art of making allies. She never planned to become queen until Derek died in the boar incident, and now that she has an opportunity, she doesn't know how. Good thing that Perugius is willing to let her learn, and even gave her advice to try again later.

One of my favorite series has an aging and powerless Caesar mentoring a young Arthur Pendragon and telling him that what makes a great leader special is that they only fight for the dignity of the weak.
