Season 1 adapted up to chapter 25, with the after-credit scene adapting the first few pages of chapter 26. The manga has a monthly release with currently 44 chapters, so, doing some math, there isn't enough source material for season 2, YET. Since the anime began, the scanlation has resumed thanks to 1 female translator who's doing God's work by properly reesearching history to not mess up terrms and names, while still translating the remaining chapters at the speed of light (the previous scanlators stopped when Tomato Soup sensei went on hiatus due to her maternity last year; the series has resumed since March) On a side note, since September 8th, the English Twitter account for the anime started a series of tweets titled "Term Spotlight", which explores terms, customs and small details shown even in passing during the episodes. In these past few days they've roughly caught up with all the content, going episode by episode. In regard to that, Brandon, remember in episode 7 those "teeth" or whatever that both Fatima used, and later some kids were shown playing with them? Among said series of tweets, there's one about them: Those are livestock ankle bones. To quote the specific tweet: Livestock Ankle Bones Used since ancient times for games and divination. They remain popular in Mongolia today and are known as shagai. Each bone has four sides representing a camel, sheep, horse, and goat.

Also, slight thing that you may not have catched: in the after-credit, Boraqchin calls Töregene "2nd Empress"... before she was known as the 6th empress, indicating that in this small time skip, Töregene (likely with Fatima's help) has greatly raised in ranks and become the 2nd most favoured consort. Since Boraqchin has no chidrern of her own, that means that the next Great Kha'an will be selected among the 5 sons of Töregene and Ögedei... Now, if we could get rid of Boraqchin (final boss spotted), it would mean that, once Ögedei kicks the bucket (dw bro historically was an alcoholic, that liver won't survive for much longer), Töregene may step in as a temporary regent to prepare for her son's crowning at the next Kurultai... What could ever go wrong? /s
