Yeah the big thing about Wilfried is how he is not evil. Just a naive and spoiled kid who does not know any better for most of the time. But yeah he really did fuck up this episode. With first barging into a girl’s only tea party without permission. Then try to charge at Rosemyne while revealing that he committed treason. He is lucky that he got away with his the privacy of his mind being removed for investigation. As well as having his grantee spot as the next archduke removed

Oh yes Rosemyne loves being a big sister. As remember she was pulled away from her lower city family. When she first becomes an older sister there. So now with Charlotte she will take the opportunity to act like a big sister again. Also funny how Rosemyne mostly helped Wilfried to not be thrown away, just to make for a good impression as a big sister😂

Well I would say Brigitte hometown/village had a pretty good thing going. With how the relationship between noble and commoner could be like

Wilfried really is an interesting character in some ways since he's flawed in ways that make sense. I do feel like Myne comes across as more interesting in the LN since we get muc more of her internal monologue and there's some really interesting things going on there that don't come across as clearly in the anime. Remember that Wilfried's education was managed by his grandmother (anime mentions but it's easy to loose sight), so he started out with a twisted understanding of things. Add on the fact that Sylvester didn't want to put him through the nasty fight for who would be heir (poisoning or accidents aren't always out of the question to settle it) and named Wilfried the heir as soon as possible. As such neither Wilfried nor his retainers felt a need to excel, something which Myne's new program for him is only starting to fix. When Ferdinand says the line about believing in family, it's in reference to the absolute crap he somehow managed to survive (multiple poisoning attempts) as well as the knowledge that it's not that unusual in noble society. The fact that polygamy exists in this world (as well as adopting talent) allows multiple similar age potential heirs to often fight for top place. In Wilfried's case, it feels like a more balanced approach could have kept him more focused while discouraging in-fighting.

You have to remember that Wilfried is 7 and his grandmother practically raised him. He grew up hearing her poison in his ear his whole life. Then they took her away and never told him why or explained anything. His environment has shaped him, and people are just "protecting" him by keeping him in the dark, which in the end will hurt him more.
