Let's Talk K-Pop

Honestly enjoyed this season and some episodes were better on rewatch. This is show that is best suited to wait until all the episodes come out for a binge watch. For the ending credits, we see the villains in a lab which is now playing a big part in the manga series the past year. There’s also that set up of a battle between the misfits and teachers

Surprised how animated this episode was, definitely a pleasent surprise to end this pretty great season off with! All I can hope is that the next season if it comes doesn't take another 3/4 years to get announced, but honestly that just goes to show how much time and effort they put into Episodes 7 and 22. Also just wanted to say without specifics, the sheer mood swings this season has caused us manga readers has been wild, because of just what is happening at this very moment in the manga. Finally, I'm surprised they didn't end it off on the cliffhanger I thought they would, but either way looking forward to Season 5! If you want to know just how much is left, this left off at the end of Chapter 214 of the manga, and the current chapter count is 459. WE AREN'T EVEN HALFWAY WHAT!

Saying that the manga is popular in Japan would be quite the understatement. It has 5 spin-offs, with the mafia one getting the first anime adaptation among them. Based on Oircon data for 2025 (related to manga sales), the main series landed at 18th place for all of Japan. That doesn't sound like a lot, but it's still higher than Detective Conan, Kaijuu Nr. 8, Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, Oshi no Ko, Solo Leveling, Chainsaw Man and My Dress-Up Darling (19th to 25th respectively). At 900'000 sales it's also only 1/6th less than Reincarnated as a Slime (1'080'000) at 13th place. As one might expect, it's also the flagship series for the "Weekly Shonen Champion" magazine that it gets released in, similar to how One Piece is the flagship for Weekly Shounen Jump.
