this might be the most competent banished from the hero party story I've seen! not only do they cover their tracks on why they thought they could betray him, the MC's ability to lend magic to others is also a very unique ability!

24:15 final thoughts on the episode. Let me know what you thought!

It makes me unreasonably sad to see googly mooglies attached to unlikeable characters... Oh, wait.... Maybe it's the frequent mana infusions that made them grow... That would be wild if by ditching the MC, they deflate into empty saddlebags, or they age rapidly... It would only be fair....

Okay, I just got 1 min in and wanted to leave a comment. Already a golden armor hero looking dude, busty mages and healer or another class girl, we know how this will go🤣🤣🤣

Hmmmmm, I can see this going two ways. Either we took all the MP back, or because we have infinite magic storage now, we'll out the gold armor hero party so much it wouldn't matter. I'd still like to see our boy take back all the MP and make those bracelet only generate 2MP or what ever those guys have originally. Either way the first episode is looking good!🗿

Can't say I'm too fond of this. I've read this exact same thing in a manga not too long ago, but the difference is that the main character was a lot better. But yes, same thing. Boy starts adventuring with party from home town, lends them skills, then gets kicked out and then takes everything he lended to them with interest (well not sure if there's any interest here). It was okayish I suppose, but better than this. I think the main thing here is that the first episode was just far too slow. And I would've preferred the the characters weren't so cartoonishly evil. At least give them some redeeming qualities or show how a rift started to form overtime or something. Well, I'm kinda expecting this show to be a watchable game-like fantasy trash show that's easy to consume. I could be wrong I suppose. Well, as long as you enjoy it.

OnePieceMan

Might break their bracelets or something because the demand is far higher than what they can generate and leave the guys without MP for the rest of their life. Well, that latter would be nice, but they wouldn't be able to become an obstacle if they're left completely powerless and ruined right away, so I don't expect that to happen just yet.

Paused at 18:55. It was at this point they realized they done F**k*d up.

I do not like all bad guys being sympathetic. Sometimes like here them being irredeemable is the better call. Besides I expect we'll learn more of the ex team members as the series progresses.

OnePieceMan

I think it comes across as unrealistic here. Three of them are from the same village, they relied on each other for years. It makes no sense to act the way they do towards him, IMO. Especially when they barely managed to squeeze past encounters with him that would have wrecked them otherwise. At the very least you would first test those bracelets and see how you actually perform.

There's been some cross-pollinating this season. It's a pretty specific scenario, even among the 'got screwed by your party' shows for this and Laid Off Cheat Granting Mage to both come out _this season_. Yeah, I'll watch both of them because I like this kind of trash 😂

Ominous fairy is ominous, this bodes poorly for the former party. And I for one cannot wait.
