Well, colour me impressed! Demonic phone card to another world was spooky fun! Another psychological anime of the season 🤔

Loved this series as a kid, had well over 100 chapters so anything less than 4 cours would be bonkers pacing.

Interesting show. Bleach vibes a bit with fighting in another world, but other than that, feels rather original. I like the animation style and was like why does this look kinda retro, reminded me of Tenjou Tenge a bit. Then I look it up and the manga was from the late 2000s I was like ohhhhh lol. Excited to see more.

Damn. I remember liking the manga when I read it like 10 years ago.

This was certainly a hilight in Shonen Jump when I was subscribed to the Magazine. It playing alongside Naruto/Bleach/One Piece back then and still being a highlight goes to show the quality to expect. Not like top 10 series good but certainly not bad. very happy with this episode. Occult fella gave Kaiju the Gambler plus Death Note vibes.

Never read the manga, but gotta say overall it’s at the very least a really solid start! Definitely gonna be one I’m gonna watch weekly I think.. wouldn’t have put horror Shonen on the bingo card, but hey, it does seem cool I agree, even as someone who doesn’t usually watch horror 😅
