ill do em all 🗿 i decided to skip that full clearing anime I guess it's mid but ill be honest im fine skipping it in favor of Magic Knight Rayearth, Dark Item, and Fire Fly Wedding, given im already watching a lot like it that are seemingly better

be thankful dark item voters...y'all lost by 3 votes and I wanted fire fly more so you got lucky..this time 🗿

will try to get to them sometime this week or next im just busy af trying to keep up with stuff im watching already

I’m so happy by this decision, when I saw the Dark item votes declining for whatever reason. I thought about bringing in more fans to change the outcome😅

It’s a shame that you’re not covering my other personal top picks for this Season, but everything you are covering is great, so who am I to complaint about my lobster being too buttery. Anyways, here’s a dump of my review for my four top picks, that I’m posting here because I’ve got the “I’ll Literally Die If I don’t Post My Thoughts Somewhere” disease Usopp style. Wild Last Boss Season 2 continues to be peak, animation is still great, I hope they animate the really hype fight (everyone who’s read it knows what I’m talking about) with the same love they gave Orm vs Lufus in Season 1. Nia Liston is great, I would not have wagered for the life of me that it would get *this* quality of animation. It’s a shame that I don’t think they are going to be following the Manga, since I prefer the slight differences it makes to the story over the Novel, but we’ll see where they go with the Anime. Here are the two you aren’t watching, I hope other people are because they are quite good. A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special is going great. It’s already got a higher budget and better animation than Season 1, and it looks like we’ll be ending this season on the arc where the story really takes off. I really hope we get a season 3, and more budget with it. This one deserves it. Romelia Senki seems doomed to fly under the radar like so many greats before it. I think it’s my absolute number one recommendation this season, and if you had one of your top tier slots open I’d drop 120$ just to get you to watch it. Eh, I’m sure that everyone will get around to watching it two-three years from now when when Atra (the studio behind it) is big and famous and everyone wants to see what they were making when they were 3 just random guys with one mouse and two keyboards between them.

I originally voted for dark item (been a long time fan of the entire series), but after watching firefly wedding, I changed my vote I'm sure you'll understand why once you watch them

I second that Romelia Senki statement. After the first two episodes, I'm still insanely intrigued by what's happening here. I think what really makes it stand out is that we don't get the inner monologue of the protagonist. We don't know what she's thinking, so we have to try and make sense of it by seeing her interactions with the rest of the cast and the world around her. She clearly has a plan for things, but we as the viewer are as clueless to it as everyone around her, which makes it so incredibly interesting to follow along.

It wasn’t like that in the Manga at least, but it is a really interesting decision I agree. If you know anything about the history of military contracting, you should know that when I say that Romelia Senki is the most Three Guys in a Shed anime I’ve ever seen seen, it’s a compliment. (If you don’t, look up the story of the AWP’s creation) Like, it’s so clearly made by a small team, in a rush, and on a budget, but damn it if those 3 guys aren’t incredibly skilled. And I literally can’t find anything about studio Arta anywhere online. I bet they are either a group who worked at one of the big Studios and left to form their own Studio, or they are like a group of art school dropouts with a hand full of pennies and a damn dream. Either way, it’s not getting the attention it deserves.

second seasons are hard to get to often for me so they come later on when they are often done, romelia is one i wanted to try but sadly not a lot of demand and one ill prolly come back to later

I feel like Romelia fell into the death spiral of demand. If it got more demand, more people would react to it, leading more people to seeing it, leading to more demand. But since it never got over that initial hump, the only people who are going to react to it are the tiny channels that don’t care about the algorithm. I hope when the biggest channels in the sphere (Gigguk, Mother’s Basement, etc.) post there 3 episode season recommendations they’ll give it good reviews and let the mid sized channels like you take a crack at it without worrying. If they don’t, well, tough luck I guess. Something something pearls before swine, and hope my top picks for the winter season don’t get shafted the same way.
