Looks like Castor unlocked the second phase of the boss fight.

My only real complain : The subtitles are far from being good though

Yet I wonder how many will get the informations revealed with the subtlety of a truck launched at 100 mph because of a shit translation xD

No wonder Castor's VA was familiar to me. It's Sasori's VA in Naruto Shippuden lol After Madara Uchiwa (Aigokeros), now we have Sasori. This series has big names everywhere, but they asked a nobody to voice the most complexe character in the series who also happened to be one of the two main characters (Dina). And Yuri Usui absolutely nailed her role lol

I am reminded of the anime "Ramen Akaneko" ("Red Cat Ramen"). The female protagonist is voiced by an actual complete newcomer, with this being her first VA role. (Only has 3 credits on MyAnimeList, with 2 of those being Ramen Akaneko) Meanwhile, the rest of the cast is absolutely stacked. You have Kenjiro Tsuda, Rie Kugimiya, Noriaki Sugiyama and Saori Hayami as some of the main characters.

I regularly see shows that I think "man, Brandon would really enjoy this one if he picked it up, it's exactly the type of thing he loves"... but then I remember, the reason I think this is because I only watch your reactions for shows that I enjoy myself and that are like those types of shows. Anyways, I do hope that we'll get you to react to Romelia War Chronicle one day. (Airing in the current season) I can already picture you going "This is the type of show that the bigger reaction channels will sleep on because it doesn't get enough hype, but damn if it isn't one of the most intriguing shows of the season".

Now it makes even more sense from last episode, when Aigokeros was talking down at Luna and explaining to her that the demon race are inferior beings, just copies, who turn into mana when they die, unlike real monsters, who leave corpses behind. If the demons are just spells, then yeah, destroying them would release the mana that was spent on them.

blame the index fandom for having me use the last slot on a certain item

She can only teleport others if they give complete agreement. This is why she is only teleporting herself and golems (since golems don't get to agree as they count as objects).

There's a pretty big mistranslation in the subtitles in this episode. It's not the Devil King that is a spell. They said 'devil folks' not 'devil king' when they were talking about that. Plus, it was already established since the fight and talk between devil king Orm and Lufas in season 1 that he wasn't a devil folk.

Something about Terra and Eros not made clear in the anime here. It's implied that they are different from the devilfolks possibly because unlike the devilfolks those two might not be attack spells, but instead spells aimed at creating an autonomous being to act as a representative. I assume that this is why Dina/Venus does not consider Terra an NPC. And the mention of Eros breaking away from the Goddess implies that he managed to become independent and thus no longer counts as under the control of the Goddess, which would also make him not an NPC.

The explanation of the Argonautai was skipped from the scene shown in this episode, so here's a simple rundown without details (since the actual details are explained later on and I don't want to spoil you): - The Argonautai are the summoned souls of beings who died in the past and are summoned by the other half of the Gemini/Twin star, aka the little sister mentioned in this episode. - The ones summoned here weren't summoned by Castor, but were instead simply manning the ship. I don't know why the anime made it seem like they were summoned in the air like that. - The Argonautai spirits seen in this episode are specifically the people who sided with Lufas in the war vs the Seven Heroes controlled by the Goddess and who died either in that war or after. In other words, it's an army of those who stayed loyal to Lufas. That's why Castor called it the 'Black-Winged Army', because that was the name of Lufas' army 200 years prior.

Crossfire X
